TV series "Supergirl" is filmed based on a comic book character - Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, who shares his super powers and vulnerability to Kryptonite. In 12 years, Kara was sent from her dying home planet Krypton to Earth, where she was adopted by a Danvers family. They taught her to protect her superpowers. Kara long concealed own strength, which she had since birth. But she was forced to use her superpowers at the time of the plane crash in the city center. This casual heroism inspired her to new feats and she starts to practice her skills in order to help the people of the city. Now, at 24 years old, Kara decides to use superhuman abilities for the benefit and be the hero, whom she always destined to be.
