[img][/img]Forget PDP and APC Nigeria's economy is in big Trouble see Why

It was Albert Einstein who said "
We can not solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them " one of the greatest challenge in the Nigerian political sphere today is denial and outright hypocrisy a situation compounded by our refusal to see beyond our noses by promoting sycophancy above national interest.

‎As Nigerians we must rise above sectional and political cleavages and accept that as a nation we have a problem a real economic challenge  which if not tackled might consume all of us.

Although General Buhari promised to stabilise the global crude oil price during the campaigns every right thinking Nigerian knew he did not know   what he was saying at that time.

Nevertheless  , there are things the President can influence and stabilise which have deteriorated under his watch,  the recent revelation by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Mrs Anastasia Nwaobia that the nation's  current revenue challenge was  worsened by a decline of over N44 billion in non oil revenue collections confirming the assertion of one of the president's supporters Dr Oby Ezekwesili that the Nation's economy has nosedived is a red flag that must not be ignored by any Nigerian who wish this nation well.

http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2015/10/28/faac-fg-states-lgs-share-n389-9bn-in-september/

Although he was termed clueless by those in power today under President Jonathan Nigeria's non oil exports exceeded oil earnings for the first time in 50 years despite earlier fluctuations the returns from non oil receipts especially agricultural ensured stability at that time.
He diversified the economy empowering the middle class and entrepreneurs to take the driving seat.

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/06/non-oil-revenue-exceeds-earnings-from-crude-in-april/

However, Stone age economic policies, draconian forex control measures, almost zero FDI and clear lack of policy  direction by the Present administration 7 months after winning an election have combined to frustrate exporters, destroy small businesses and cripple manufacturing.

With the tsunami  of sacks and retrenchment sweeping the private sector and the confused  Implementation of the TSA  bringing activities in the public sector to a complete stand still a nose diving non oil receipt is the last thing the nation needs at the moment.

As citizens we must look beyond sentiments and party affiliation, if the pump price of fuel has reduced or doubled under our man we must not shy away from letting him know the truth.

The consistent decline in non oil earnings at a time crude prices are declining is risk the nation cannot afford at a time like this when states can hardly pay salaries.

Whether APC members will be willing to let their masters know the truth remains to be seen but the earlier the APC led administration of general Buhari wakes up from its current state of Inertia the better for Nigeria and Nigerians.

I rest my case

@Op, your observations and conclusions are typical of an embittered wailer.
Your assertions are vague, shallow, inconsistent, disjointed, immoral and bias aimed at consoling your tears of hopelessness & helplessness.
An administration that came on board barely some months is expected to miraculously or magically turned the messy economic decadence that the previous administration has plunge us into in your warped analysis.
It is instructive to know that real knowledge according to Confucius is to know the extent of one's ignorance, some of us are not gullibles or sycophants and can never be an irredeemable WAILERS.
We know why we voted Buhari, maybe you don't have such eyes or lack the capacity to understand our perceptions and expectations from the present administration, which if it failed to live up to any day we will not hesitate to critise them in the open.
As for or now we will not engage in needless and senseless criticism that makes no meaning to the present realities.

Hmmmmmm

Buhari and co promise to hit the ground running did they?

It took them almost 6 months to come up with a list may be another month before we have a cabinet

They have shown no sense of urgency or clear understanding of the Nigerian problem

Can you beat your chest and say Buhari is not confused because the way he is making policies and reversing them is akin to a confused sailor

He promised an end to boko in 2 weeks you know the story today

It is a Shame for a government to completely lack direction 7 months after wining an election after all the noise they made

When you promised to hit the ground running and you hit a dirty murky ground that won't allow you raise your legs easily, what will you do?
Buhari has a 4 years mandate and i can only judge him after his tenure or criticize him justifiably on the problems he created, and not what he inherited that he has to work on over time.
