President Buhari must be told this bitter truth, whether he likes this or not that, irrespective of the conscious local Nigeria media blackout on news items on the huge wave of Biafran Nationalism blowing wildly across the world. Most of us trapped within Nigeria know the true status about Biafra now. It is the Federal –Unitary center in Nigeria and its criminal counterpart called, “National council of State of former criminal military imposters cum former military Nigeria neo- colonial rulers from Northern extractions” , that are holding Nnamdi Kanu in detention and not the fake one Nigeria people.. These leaders in the last National council of State meeting they held some few days ago, told a fearful Buhari never to release the National Leader of the new Biafran Nation, irrespective of whatever global pressure and a judgment from the court, directing the Nigerian State and its government to do so. Their projections are that, after all they killed Abiola, and he was never released to the Yoruba Nation alive, with all the gragra, we the Yoruba did, till when the struggle lasted, and the Yoruba were bribed with one of their own, whom they, the cabal sees as a mentor, and the heaven did not fall, and the Yorubas later accepted the indivisibility of Nigeria as more important Factor, than what they suffered in the hands of Hausa-Fulani ownership of Nigeria, During the June 12 brouhaha. A released Nnamdi Kanu is equivalent to releasing Biafra, as an Independent sovereign Nation, which will be gladly acceptable worldwide to the citizens of the globe. This is their feeble conclusions not knowing that millions of Nnamdi Kanu likes who share is vision and courage for freedom; adorn the length and breadth of the world, working tirelessly to De-amalgamate the criminal British created One Nigerian State. That these leaders, who dominated this National council of States, were the major owners, of oil-blocks ,which are the traditional lands that belong to the various Indigenous Nations within the Biafran federation. That the major assets they possess in billions of dollars, which they perceived as their National loots, even when these National parasites, are using some of their own fronts ,to illegally mined their own solid mineral resources and precious stones, which revenue never accrued to the coffers of a Federal Government but to the pockets of powerful individuals, working for some powerful interests in the North who are the major beneficiaries of all these illegal mining, which daily inflow into their private pockets and accounts, is in Billons of foreign currencies. Since it is the cabals in the Nigerian Council of State that are doing this, it do not really matter, but when it comes to the issues of Resource Control, True and Regional federalism and the ultimate sovereign determination ,as the Biafrans are doing now, these parasites called members of the National Council of States will threatened war and violence.

When advise our Biafrans brothers to take cognizance of this information, which are that, once the likes of Gowon and other Northern leaders ,beginning to starting suggesting Igbo Presidency to the Biafran Nation, using the saboteurs within the Biafran Nation under various political, traditional and socio-cultural nomenclatures to project this, your people should and must know that the Abiola and Bola Ige treatment, is being proposed by the cabals and the Northern sharks for Nnamdi Kanu, the new genuine face of the new Biafra Liberation struggle. The Biafrans in their Millions in Biafraland must occupy every inch of their Territory in their millions of Millions in their uncountable mass, with the CNN, Aljazeera, Sky News and all other media stations in the world focusing the satellites facilities on Biafran areas, during these process.. If possible they must in their millions occupy all the State Houses, Houses of Assemblies and the judicial institutions within their Territory, in a peaceful and organized manner. The surging size of the Millions of the Biafrans towards the aforementioned institutions of the Nigerian State within Biafraland will send any security agents of State scampering for their safety but the peaceful demonstrators, must never be violent, and when they arrived at the respective Government institutions already occupied by millions of Biafrans in Biafraland. Leaders of each of the province will made public demand for the United Nations supervised referendum for self-determination in Biafraland and among the Biafran people. While that of Biafraland is going on, the Biafran citizens around the world will be picketing all Nigerian foreign mission abroad demanding from the United Nations, they want a referendum on self-determination for the Indigenous People of Biafra. These current activities will lead to the Biafrans at home boycotting all pan-Nigerian activities in various manifestations. They must also demand for Russia to invoke their veto authority in the Security Council of the United Nations to declare and promptly move into Biafraland and declare the Territory as a protected Territory under the United Nations, under Article 1, to be mandated and supervised by the Russians, as they did in Crimea, and other parts of Eastern Europe. No hold Barred! The dice of freedom is cast forever! No going back, as this is the last fight!

The arrest and continuous detention of Nnamdi Kalu ,the National and global Leader of the new Biafra Nation, with larger global appeal with 78 diplomatic centers in major sovereign Nations of the world that were registered members of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) council with over total numbers of 198 sovereign states in the world, then, the Nigeria State and its internal neo-colonial masters and supporters ,must know what they are wishing for, when the issue at hands, is concerning the agitation for self-determination of the Biafra Nation cum the old Eastern Region trapped within the British created Nigeria just like the other Regions within the expired one Nigeria country, since the 1914 amalgamation and the 55 years of un-eventful sovereign Nationhood. It must be stated that the Current Biafra agitation has the backing of one of the members of the United Nations security Council (UNSC) the Russian Federation, whose is a Nuclear world leading power and the state of Israel, another Nuclear super-power and a Jewish State, whose foreign policy objectives is driven by offensive and aggressive permutations anchored on its national policy of self-preservation and not by persuasive and containment strategies. That the two aforementioned Nuclear super-powers has continue to insist that the Biafran National Leader arrested by the Nigerian State whose several numerous global agitations and advocacy, is a continuous threat to the corporate existence of a Nigeria, a country, whose emergence, as a sovereign State, was never legalized in a National referendum of the multi-Human reflections of the various Ethnic nations, forced together into the country ,by the British colonialists cum international imperialists, must be released unconditionally.

That the Indigenous people of Biafra, whose Governors, senators, members of House of Representatives, designated ministers, ambassadors, members of pan-Nigerian-Igbo or Niger-deltans government business and public corporations, ministries at both the Federal and State Levels, Churches, Socio-cultural groupings and those operating in the private sectors in Nigeria, may not concur or give their tacit supports to the current struggle of their people for self-determination, to the major extents of having their Region evolved into a new existence as a separate country. Such opposition from the above interests, against Biafra, do not connote that the Biafra quest, by is current proponents and proportions, is not valid under international law. What the current faces of international human rights, is positioned, to address, is the rights of the individuals ,to be protected and safeguarded, and for such rights in respective of which parts of the world they are violated and the interests of some foreign nations attached to these violators, must be uphold by the international community. And that, is one of the major reasons for the global massive supports for Biafra, and not because the above mentioned pan-one Nigeria and anti Biafran interests from the old Eastern Region, now the new Biafra, desire it or not. Buhari given marching orders to the Governors of the five South-East States, to stop their people support for Biafra, is begging the question, is the President instructing these Governors to commit genocide or human rights violation against their own people in the name of maintaining law and order for the sake of one Nigeria nation-state?, which could arrived in a situation, when they are later arrested for violation of international human right laws by the international community, and would the Nigeria State or President, deny their culpability of the said crimes against Humanity? Will the Presidency and the Nigerian State not deny given these Nigerian-Igbos governors the order? Is Nigeria insolated against the enforcement of international law within it artificial territorial boundaries, because the North do not want it or some Southerners oppose it. Where are these serial doubters, when Bakassi was taken away under Nigeria sovereign claims of primacy of the State, International Law via conspiracies engineered by France? And now Russia and Israel are backing Biafra, these deceptive Nigerian pinches want, to feign ignorance again? Did these real one- Nigerians protagonists, go to war with the international community, when Bakassi was taken away under one Nigeria sovereign umbrella? The genuine Yoruba freedom Fighters, call those types of pretenders, “Alawada”

That the aggressive response of the Nigerian State to the massive deviant protests from armless pro- Biafran Nationalists who have decided to occupied their own Territory is a strong lessons to other Regions also trapped under Nigeria ,who also has their own demands from the neo-colonial State rejected, but who will rather be bought over, used and dumped for Nigeria, to continue to exist as one, they will gullibly accept such ugly situation, rather than mobilized their people to follow their struggle to the logical conclusions. They hide and continue to hide under excuses such as for “the love of Nigeria” supported inducements, to justify the above weakness. Our own people must look beyond the politics of PDP and the APC in this current situation Nigeria found itself in, the current situation is as a results of those who had been sweeping all issues attached to the National question under the carpet and resort to employing State aggressive power of coercion and apparatus to suppress the struggle for survival of those Regions who are no longer interested in Nigeria, since one of the contending regional blocks within the failed Nigerian State ,do not want the country re-structured. The current issues in Nigeria today, revolves around the rights of indigenous Nations ceded into Nigeria by the British, to exit the useless Union peacefully or otherwise, when the country had failed to help them fulfill their fairy destiny, then possessing the rights to express their rights to self-determination, not minding whose part of the failed Country, the current President of Nigeria emanated from. And those who are stilling willing, to remain parts of the Union possess no fundamental rights, under domestic and international law, to force those who choose to become a new country outside Nigeria, to force them to continually remain under the unworkable union or threating them with violence or war or Joining the others to go to war with the others against them ,to forcefully subjugate them, in order to keep Nigeria one, may incur grave consequences to territories of the other members of the union, when the masquerades from the international community who are huge powerful Global players within the global nuclear power spectrum are the ones supporting the Region or Regions that have invoked self-determination, to be a separate country on their own. This is one of the points Egbon Femi Fani Kayode, was drawing our attention to, in his article published in two Nigerian weekend dallies of last Sunday, inside the Sunday Suns newspaper and the Sunday Vanguard of last week. Our own humble advise to the Yoruba Nation, Elders, Leaders, Youths, politicians, traditional rulers, scholars, Civil-society and Human rights activists is that, they should trend softly on this current Biafran agitation for self-determination and for them to know that no matter how some of them may dismiss or oppose the current Biafran quest for some reasons or the other, in as much these Biafrans has powerful nuclear-weapons backups of Sovereign States abroad, we need to be diplomatic on how we are,
to take positions that may involve our collective survival as a people in the future. We must not give too much premium to one Nigeria of today or for it survival tomorrow. Such is not our business, but the protection and freedom of our own people... It is the survival of the Yoruba people and Nation that should be very paramount in our minds and by our practical actions. Laying claims to some un-educated statement like saying that “it is an outsider under Nigeria that can developed the Yoruba Nation and people better than our own within Nigeria, better than when we are ruling ourselves, when we are no longer within Nigeria, is a mark of gross hypocrisy, blatant blackmail against universal truth and conscience. Oduduwa Republic is waiting for us all.

NNAMDI KANU AND THE CRY FOR BIAFRA

I am not a Biafran and neither am I Igbo. I do however believe that it is the inalienable right of any human being or ethnic nationality to aspire to be free and to be able to determine their own destiny. The right of self-determination is enshrined in international law and it is guaranteed by every moral stricture known to man.

It is a right that has been exercised successfully over and over again in world history and it has led to the creation of new nations which were carved out of older ones. The denial of that right and the suppression and persecution of those who attempt to exercise it leads to nothing but defiance, dissent and resistance and, if not properly managed, it eventually spills over into war and carnage.

This has been the primary cause of most of history's most brutal civil wars, including the American, Russian, French, English, Indian, Sri Lankan, Sudanese, Nigerian, Angolan, Congolese, Zimbabwean, Yugoslavian, Ukrainian, Nicaraguan, Cuban, Irish, Syrian, Libyan, Indonesian, Korean, Vietnamese, Spanish, Iraqi, Italian, Lebanese ones and countless others. I do not believe in violent change and neither do I believe in war, revolution, terror or the use of arms in the pursuance of even the most noble causes.

I do however believe in the power of ideas and the right of any man, woman or people to yearn to be free from bondage and to peacefully and freely express that yearning. It is in this context that I situate my belief in and support for those that view the Nigerian Federation as an oppressive entity which has effectively enslaved its people in an attempt to create what is essentially an artificial and unworkable state.

Those that believe in Nigeria have every right to continue to do so and to voice their resolve to keep Nigeria one. What they do not have the right to do is to refuse to offer the same degree of freedom of expression to those that do not believe in a united Nigeria and who instead believe in the peaceful dissolution of our nation to speak their minds and voice their views. What is good for the goose is surely good for the gander. You cannot grant one side of the divide freedom of expression whilst you deny it to the other.

This is all the more so because freedom of expression is the lifeblood of any democracy. It must be accorded in equal measure to those that believe in Nigeria and to those that do not. It is in this light that we must consider the plight of Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, the director of Radio Biafra and the man that has been described by the Igbo World Assembly as ''Buhari's first political prisoner''.

We may not like his style, we may not like his radio station, we may not share his views or approve of his methods but one thing that we cannot take from Mr. Kanu is his right to hold such views and to express them in a peaceful and lawful manner no matter how distasteful those views may be to some. To deny him this most basic human right is not only an act of intellectual terrorism but it is also the most grave and barbaric manifestation of what is essentially an evolving police state where different or contrary views cannot be accommodated by those in power.

When Mr. Alex Salmon and his Scottish Nationalist Party began the agitation for the dissolution of the United Kingdom and for the establishment of Scottish independence many years ago they were not charged to court, locked up indefinitely or murdered by the British authorities but instead they were eventually given the opportunity to participate in a referendum and test their ideas. The same thing happened in the Catalan region of Spain where the agitation for the establishment of a new nation is compelling and very popular.

The same thing happened a number of years ago in the Quebec region of Canada. It also happened in a region called East Timor which opted to leave Indonesia and in Singapore which opted to leave Malaysia. The same process was adopted when Georgia, the Ukraine and all the other former Soviet states opted to leave Russia and when the Czech Republic opted to break off from Slovakia.

The utility and importance of conducting a referendum on such matters in order to determine the true will of the people and to honor the findings of that referendum cannot be underestimated and it remains the only path for peace.

Sadly President Buhari who, like most in his generation, are still stuck in the mindset of a civil war general, has refused to learn from this. The biggest mistake and miscalculation of his administration so far is not the ruthless implementation of its patently and monstrously unapologetic northern and Islamic agenda but rather its absurd resolve to lock up Mr. Kanu indefinitely and to effectively throw the key away simply because he dared to call for the establishment of Biafra.

As far as I am aware Mr. Kanu has not used or advocated the use of violence whilst expressing himself and neither have any of his supporters. One therefore wonders what has panicked the Federal Government to such a point that they not only have to lock him up but that they also have to violate the law of the land by not allowing him to see his lawyer and by not presenting him before a court of law and charging him within the constitutionally-prescribed three days.

State-sponsored violence and intimidation, the violation of human rights, illegal incarceration, the murder of innocents and the vicious suppression of legitimate ideas leads to nothing but hardened hearts, greater defiance and the spread of anger and dissent. The principle is simple and clear: the more you fan the flame of tyranny and repression the more the passion and fire of liberty spreads.

It follows that the biggest favor that President Buhari's security agencies could have done for the Biafran cause was to lock up Mr. Kanu and thereby transform him from being a little-known secessionist into the living symbol of the Biafran struggle, a respected freedom fighter, a champion of the Igbo people and an internationally-acclaimed political prisoner.

It is no wonder that leading politicians from all over the world, including the former Home Secretary and former Leader of the Labor Party in the United Kingdom, Mrs. Harriet Harman QC, have called for his release. The Russian and Israeli governments have also expressed concern and done the same.

Their call was the right and proper thing to do and I add my voice to that call. I have never met or spoken to Mr. Kanu but I am moved by his passion and courage. I am also persuaded by the logic and force of his public assertions. He has made a compelling case for the establishment of Biafra and millions of young Igbos from all over the world have bought into it.

It is left for those that do not agree with him to make a better case and to stem the Biafran tide. That is the monumental challenge that those that do not agree with Mr. Kanu's views or his methods have. I have not always been on the same page with our Igbo brothers yet despite that one thing is clear: only the callous would deny the fact that they have suffered immeasurably in the Nigerian Federation over the last 50 years.

Only the uninformed would deny the fact that they have been butchered, murdered, persecuted, broken, humiliated, insulted, cheated and treated with contempt and disdain more than any other ethnic group in the country since July 1966.

What the Nigerian state is confronted with in the new generation of Igbos who refuse to be cowed is a time-bomb. Unlike their fathers they cannot be appeased or intimidated. They are not fearful of the prospect of a second civil war. They are not prepared to settle for crumbs and neither do they fear death, conflict, defeat, incarceration, butchery or persecution.

They are imbued with a spirit that cannot be suppressed and the more they cry ''Biafra'', the more the spirits of the millions that were slaughtered on the Biafran side during the civil war are invoked. The more they cry ''Biafra'', the more the souls of the hundreds of thousands of their people that were butchered during the barbaric pogroms in the north in the mid-60's and thereafter are remembered.

The more they cry ''Biafra'', the more they remember how their fathers were stripped of everything after the civil war and how they have been denied the opportunity to rise to the highest office in the land. The more they cry ''Biafra'', the more they acknowledge and recognise the bitter fact that the Buhari administration regard their kith and kin as nothing more than third class citizens and pitiable prisoners of war. The worst thing that the Nigerian authorities can do is to treat them with levity or contempt.

They are angry, they are fed up, they refuse to be enslaved, they want a brighter future and they have come to realise that they have nothing to lose. The most inappropriate thing that President Buhari can do is to continue to underestimate the power of their resolve or the clarity of their intent. The worst thing that they can do is to begin to jail them, to shed their blood and to take their lives.

The more you lock up the Biafrans, the more they will rise up. The more you mock them, the more they will shout. The more you kill them, the more their anger will be kindled. The more you deny them, the more they will wax stronger. The more you treat them with disdain, the more they will defy you. The more you treat them like slaves the more they will aspire to break off and take their destiny into their own hands. You cannot resist an idea whose time has come.

This is a fact that we must all accept and it is with this in mind that I urge President Buhari and the Federal Government to not only release Mr. Nnamdi Kanu but also to tread with the utmost restraint and caution when dealing with those that are agitating for Biafra.
