The dullard will not see this as important, rather to pump money into the IDPs camps and travelling to visit the president of west Germany and the chancellor of east America.

The repayment plan of BOA loan is not coducive for farmers at all, BOA expected farmers to start serving agric loan 3months after it was disbursed. Which agric product can u harvest in 3 months apart from vegetative produce.

At least agric loan repayment should start after first harvest. Considering plantain plantation that will be harvested after 9month's or cocoa and palm tree.

Loans are supposed to be paid from proceeds, not taking another loan to service the other

Because sadly, many farmers in Nigeria do not pay back their loans (true).

Eg.....Zamfara under Yerima gave some loans to farmers...which were not paid . Govt had to beg them.

Anyway.....i think eventually grants and cooperatives are the way forward.

Agriculture really improved during GEJs regime but the only agricultural policy the dullard has embarked on was to remove ban on rice importation.
Which way Nigeria
The agric improvement under your GEJ was a big scam given d financial goodwill, international support n Nigerians' cooperation it enjoyed. How many farmer were lifted from poverty in GEJ's 6 years? For example Benue is a food basket but many foods go waste post harvest because there were no real value addition strategies on ground to help d farmers but cosmetics. PMB is just 5months in the saddle n time will tell d difference between a 4 years deliberate policy n a 6 years cosmetics on Nigerian Agriculture.

food sufficiency that left d farmer poorer e.g the fraudulent import waiver on rice that fundamentally fractured d local production? Adeshina had great ideas that rogue politicians didn't allow Nigerians to benefit from. Need I tell that was leadership problem?
