[quote author=klbakare post=39540462]ojuu4u are you okay at all? You want me to say "he might have graduated from a polytechnic" in place of "he must have graduated/finished from a ploytechnic" i will counsel you to go revise your mastering english thoroughly. You are obviously a polytechnic graduate. Please swerve. There are other errors you have made which i do not have all the time to address. You should try to modify your posts.

please proof to me that "must' in that statement is correct, why are you so adamant? U claimed it's correct yet u can not proof it. Didn't you study concord in english language? Might is past tense/participle of 'must' and the action there had been done already hence the word "might".
Secondly, spoken and written of good grammar are gifts and not because of institutions you attend/attended. I am a university graduate and also woking with state university, I relate with them daily, though am not here to compare or condemn

It is always good to vet whatever you write before posting it on media. Even a letter or speech should be vetted before sending or delivering.
The corps member might had two things in mind as in, I am now a corper or I am now in camp. Every one are guilty of this. Just that he posted it without reading through it.

There you go again victim of neocolonialism. I was not derogatory towards you I was only complementing your post. Besides only idle mind has time to pick flaws in doting of 'I' s and crossing of 't' s. As I am now I have 3 books to publish and I application to finish b4 year runs out. If not 4 d sake of clarity I prefer to write in pseudocode. Cheers

You are hundred percent correct. We all know education and knowledge is a self development. Statistically Federal Poly students do better than University students, State poly do better than state university students.
What are you even saying?

If not for you I would've said there's no hope for Nigerians anymore. The error that annoys me the most is still "Am" used in place of "I'm".

But really I blame the system not the products. Even those that are in strategic positions to change things are busy siphoning money!

Hahahahaha... why do I feel like you want to be my friend? Go back and read what you wrote earlier and you will notice that perhaps, you didn't put it the way it should be. Anyway, that's what happens when you read posts cos you can't really read facial expressions and all.

I will therefore say as a lover of peace that I am, congrats on your book publications and all the other big things you are doing... Whatever that means. Cheers!

(swerve or swear). I do not have 'all the' the time to address or I do not have time to address. You hardly write statement without commiting bluders. Oga university graduate your first language (yoruba) has influence in the way you construct english language. (all the time big blunder)

Thanks sweetheart. I see such errors daily on social media, sometimes I correct them, other times I ignore them. Some people don't know how to take in corrections so you just let them be. I make mistakes too and appreciate it when I'm corrected.
I believe we will get there, the nursery and primary school teachers have a lot of work to do but it will surely be done. Have you noticed the number of homes today where parents are speaking correct English with their children? Even parents who are not educated. I listen to my hair stylist as she communicates with her children and even though the tenses are wrong, I love what she is doing and commend her effort.

So, victory is on the way!

Moreso, 80% of the corpers spell "CORPER" as "COPPER". . That was my survey during service.

You are wrong at this 'CORPER'... It's CORPS MEMBER. Before correcting others, be very sure of yourself. I'm sorry, but I have to go out of my way and place you and that guy on the same level.
