Urban and regional planning's profession is a complex profession..that is my course, the issue in Nigeria is that less recognition is given to built environment...urban planning is a prosperous profession in developed countries and some developing countries..in simple sentence urban and Regional planning defined by keeble is the art and science of ordering the use of land, buildings and setting communication route in order to achieve a maximum practicable degree of economy, beauty, conveniency, coherency and lively environment...where planners can work in Nigeria are: 1. Any ministry dt deals with built environment 2. Mortgage Bank 3. Private firm on built environment matters 4. Nigeria Police force 5. Army 6. Lecturing 7. Parastatals dt deal with development,land matters and co 8.WHO 9. Works department in any establishment 10.Churches lik Winners, redeem do employ planners 11.
