THE National Universities Commission (NUC) has developed new Benchmark Minimum Academic Standards for training of doctors in universities with medical programme now extended to seven years duration. Executive Secretary of NUC, Professor Julius Okojie, presented the reviewed curriculum to the stakeholders at a three-day capacity development programme for staff of medical schools in Nigerian universities. http://tribuneonlineng.com/node/21258 1 Like 1 Share |

And at the end of the day. The country pays them peanuts, and that brother that did a 3 years course outside the country will come back and start counting millions, while they are in their 400l as medical students. It's not about the years spent, it's about the quality of what you receive. Unilag once changed computer science to 5 years, but still produced same output 71 Likes 5 Shares |
