What is Cancer?
"A disease caused by an uncontrolled division of abnornal cells in a part of the body" - Oxford
Cancer can start generating almost anywhere in the human body, which is made up of 100 trillions of cells. Naturally, human cells grow and divide to form new cells. As cell grows old and getting more abnormal when should have died and New cells are forming when they are not needed, Both Old and New Cells start forming abnormal growth with each other called TUMOURS.
There more than 100 of cancerous growth which can lead to different types of cancer which among them are:
Cancer of the blood (Leukaemia), Cervical Cancer, Breast Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Brain Cancer, Lung Cancer, etc.

There are two major Specific types of tumours namely:
1. Malignant tumours: This is the most dangerous type of tumour which when grown, they can spread and affect other body tissues. Even when they are removed they are most like to grow back.

2. Benign tumours: This is less dangerous or non cancerous, but a bigger version which when grown they do not spread to other body tissues and when removed may not regrow.

WHAT CAN CAUSE CANCEROUS TUMOUR GROWTH
There so many factors that can cause cancerous growth in the body of its' victims:
1. Generic Inherited: Some types of cancer run in certain families, but most cancers are not clearly linked to the genes we inherit from our parents. Gene changes that start in a single cell over the course of a person's life cause most cancers.

2. Tobacco and Smoking: People that smoke cigarette, cigar, and smokeless tobacco are at very risk of have a growth which can be cancerous. Tobacco and Cigar contains Nicotine which is a poison chemical that can be inhaled and can cause an abnormal growth in the body especially the lung leading to Lung cancer. Someone have a record or if you do not want to have cancer, do away totally with tobacco and cigars.

3. Diet and Physical Activity: Diet, physical activity, excess body weight, and alcohol use may affect your risk of cancer.
Besides quitting smoking, some of the most important things you can do to help reduce your cancer risk are:

a. Get to and stay at a healthy weight throughout life.
b. Be physically active on a regular basis.
c. Make healthy food choices with a focus on plant-based foods.

Control your weight.
Getting to and staying at a healthy weight is important to reduce the risk of cancer and other chronic diseases, such as heart disease and diabetes. Being overweight or obese increases the risk of several cancers, including those of the breast (in women past menopause), colon and rectum, endometrium (the lining of the uterus), esophagus, pancreas, and kidney, among others.
One of the main ways is that excess weight causes the body to produce and circulate more estrogen and insulin, hormones that can stimulate cancer growth.

One of the best ways to get an idea if you are at a healthy weight is to check your Body Mass Index (BMI), a score based on the relationship between your height and weight.

To reduce cancer risk, most people need to keep their BMIs below 25.

BMI (Body Mass Index) = Weight(kg)/Height(m^2). Follow the table to know your BMI index

BMI Condition
Below 18.5 Underweight
18.5-24.9 Normal weight
25-29.9 Overweight
30 and higher Obese

Be more active: Watching how much you eat will help you control your weight. The other key is to be more physically active. Being active helps reduce your cancer risk by helping with weight control. It can also help improve your hormone levels and the way your immune system works.

Eat healthy foods.
Eating well is an important part of improving your health and reducing your cancer risk. Take a good hard look at what you typically eat each day and try these tips to build a healthy diet plan for yourself and your family:
a. Choose foods and drinks in amounts that help you get to and maintain a healthy weight.
b. Limit how much processed meat and red meat you eat.
c. Eat at least 2½ cups of vegetables and fruits each day.
d. Choose whole grains instead of refined grain products.

Choose whole-grain breads, pasta, and cereals (such as barley and oats) instead of breads, cereals, and pasta made from refined grains, and brown rice instead of white rice.
Limit your intake of refined carbohydrate foods, including pastries, candy, sugar-sweetened breakfast cereals, and other high-sugar foods.

If you drink alcohol, limit how much
People who drink alcohol should limit their intake to no more than 2 drinks per day for men and 1 drink per day for women. The recommended limit is lower for women because of their smaller body size and slower breakdown of alcohol.

4. Sun and UV Exposure
Ultraviolet (UV) radiation comes from the sun and man-made sources like tanning beds. Most skin cancers are a direct result of exposure to the UV rays in sunlight. Both basal cell and squamous cell cancers (the most common types of skin cancer) tend to be found on sun-exposed parts of the body, and their occurrence is typically related to lifetime sun exposure. Stay away from much exposure from sun radiation to avoid especially Skin Cancer.

5. Other Carcinogens:
Some of the environmental causes of cancer may lurk in our homes, at work, in pollution, and even in some medical tests and treatments.

At Home
Some of the possible cancer-causing substances in and around the home, including radon, lead, and arsenic. You can also find information on consumer products such as cosmetics, hair dyes, and cell phones.
In the Workplace
For some people, the workplace can be a source of exposure to some potentially harmful substances, such as asbestos, benzene, or formaldehyde.
Pollution
Pollution such as Benzene is a colourless, flammable liquid with a sweet odour. The link between benzene and cancer has largely focused on leukaemia and cancers of other blood cells. Radon is a colourless, odourless, radioactive gas. Long-term exposure to radon can lead to lung cancer. Diesel Exhaust fuel derived from crude oil. Large engines, including those used in many trucks, buses, trains, construction and farm equipment, generators, ships, and in some cars, run on diesel fuel.

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS AND DIAGNOSIS OF CANCER
Spotting cancer early is important as it helps in aiding treatments quickly and successful. it can be diagnose manually when the below signs are seen, Symptoms includes:
a. Breathlessness
b. Unexplained Vaginal Bleeding
c. Persistence heartburn or Indigestion
d. Croaky Voice and hoarseness
e. Persistence Bloating
f. Difficulty in Swallowing
g. Sore that would not heal
h. Heavy Night Sweat
i. Usual Breast Changes
j. Blood in faeces
k. Blood in your Pee
l. Coughing out blood
m. Unexplained weight loss
n. Persistence Cough
o. Problem Peeing
p. Unusual Swelling or lump anywhere in the body

DIAGNOSE IS DONE WITH:
1. Lab Tests
High or low levels of certain substances in your body can be a sign of cancer. So, lab tests of the blood, urine, or other body fluids that measure these substances can help doctors make a diagnosis. However, abnormal lab results are not a sure sign of cancer. Lab tests are an important tool, but doctors cannot rely on them alone to diagnose cancer.
2. Imaging Procedures:
CT Scan, Ultrasound, Quantum Magnetic Body Analyser (MRI) scan (Contact on 07037924908 for MRI Scan) or visit http://evergreenhealthcaresupplements.com/quantum-magnetic-resonance-analyzer-health.php to learn more about MRI, PET scan, X-rays
3. Biopsy
In most cases, doctors need to do a biopsy to make a diagnosis of cancer. A biopsy is a procedure in which the doctor removes a sample of tissue. A pathologist then looks at the tissue under a microscope to see if it is cancer. The sample may be removed in several ways:

a. With a needle: The doctor uses a needle to withdraw tissue or fluid.

b. With an endoscope: The doctor looks at areas inside the body using a thin, lighted tube called an endoscope. The scope is inserted through a natural opening, such as the mouth. Then, the doctor uses a special tool to remove tissue or cells through the tube.

c. With surgery: Surgery may be excisional or incisional.
In an excisional biopsy, the surgeon removes the entire tumor. Often some of the normal tissue around the tumor also is removed.
In an incisional biopsy, the surgeon removes just part of the tumor.

TREATMENT OF CANCER
The treatments of cancer are few but will mention the few amongst them:
1. Surgery
Surgery can be used to diagnose, treat, or even help prevent cancer in some cases. Most people with cancer will have some type of surgery. It often offers the greatest chance for cure, especially if the cancer has not spread to other parts of the body.

2. Chemotherapy
Chemotherapy (chemo) is the use of medicines or drugs to treat cancer. The thought of having chemotherapy frightens many people. But knowing what chemotherapy is, how it works, and what to expect can often help calm your fears. It can also give you a better sense of control over your cancer treatment.

3. Radiation Therapy
Radiation therapy uses high-energy particles or waves to destroy or damage cancer cells. It is one of the most common treatments for cancer, either by itself or along with other forms of treatment.

4. Immunotherapy
Immunotherapy is treatment that uses your body's own immune system to help fight cancer.

5. Targeted Therapy
Targeted therapy is a newer type of cancer treatment that uses drugs or other substances such as nutritional supplements to more precisely identify and attack cancer cells
NOTE: Nutritional supplements are not drugs and not intended to treat disease but to aid the doctor's prescription when abnormal growth had been detected in ones body. I have recommended Nutritional supplement that can aid treatment of cancer. For more details, call or whatsapp on 07037924908
