Being large does not translate to being developed.China has a larger economy than South Korea but South Korea is by far more developed than China.

It is about the ease of doing business and not the size of the economy. The economy of Lagos us bigger than that of Kenya.

So what if its bigger? The economy of Nairobi alone is also bigger than that of Zambia ,Senegal ,Mozambique or Cameroon and almost equal to giant DRC.

Lagos isn't even close to Nairobi in terms of economic output per capita:Lagos has GDP of $3200 per resident while Nairobi's GDP is about US$9600 per resident.

Economic output does not translate to quality of life ,standard of living or development. China is the world's second largest economy but its quality of life is not even in the top 25.
Why would an investor go to a nation with an epileptic power supply, nearly non existent municipal services like water and sewerage, traffic chaos in the major cities, high crime, the threat of terrorism, not from a foreign agent like in the case of Kenya but from Nigerians themselves
