Is this not a fraud why will the apc senators be the one to reject the payment of 5000 naira monthly allowance to unemployed youth?. Did they forget that it was baba buhari and papa osinbanjo that make that promise.
President muhammad buhari and VP osinbanjo during their campaign make the above promise to nigerians , they promised that unemployed graduates and poorest Nigerians will receive at least 5000 naira as monthly allowance., this was the promise made before the election.
What transpired today in the senate will really shock many nigerian, the motion for the payment of 5000 naira as monthly allowcontinue reading

People need to chill with this 5k/Month thing, thats the problem with Nigerians, always looking for ways to make quick cash and satisfy todays needs not considering the future.

What do the youths want to do with 5k/Month? shey na to buy recharge cards or transport yourself from one place to another for a whole month? In present day Nigeria you cant even save anything out of that amount, it ll be done in a few days. So whats the point? what impact will that have on your future?

That ll just be further waste of money, not to talk of the many Nigerians that will abuse the system.

The federal government should use those funds instead to put something that will make life after university easier for the youths in place. 5k a month is RUBBISH.

So many uninformed youths tweeting nonsense. The 5k unemployed youth allowance can't be paid until there is a budgetary provisions for it. The PMB administration has not proposed any budget at the moment and so, any agitation at this point in time is premature.

Political twitter warlords should let the government settle and provide solutions to the numerous economical problems facing the country. The government still have 3.5 years to fulfil all its electoral promises to Nigerians and that is enough time if you ask me.

Do you see the amount of likes you had for that logical post? just one. Nigerians don't like the truth when it is laced with common sense. The government can't even pay salaries and people are asking for 5k freebies. This is what you get from people who think only with their stomachs. Suffer really fit Nigerians.

Dear Wailers,

How do you expect us to pay #5000 monthly to 25,000,000 unemployed youths (which I am sure is less than the actual figure)
Have you ever take out your time to do the arithmetics yourself?

Do you know the totality of our yearly budget?
Are you not aware that we are yet to pay the people that are currently working for us.
You are talking about a monthly payment of #125b and an annual pay of #1.5trillion
.
From where do you expect the money to come?

Wake up from that dream and go to work. Don't expect us to feed your kids too. The second arithmetic is what I can't do for now since there is no statistics of the number of children in the school. Don't expect anything less than 15million children in school.

Assuming we decide to pay #150 per meal a day, then we have to cough out #150*15m*22days*12months.

The figure is in the neighborhood of #600b annually.

Wailers, if we keep on estimating all these, Nigeria may loose hope. This present government is currently looking at various ways to boost government revenue by payment of tax by all people.

Please bear with us.

May thunder scatter your left yansh for that silly post.

Have you seen tje 2015 budget? Was there any budgetry allocation for subsidy? No. Te last administration had planned to remove subsidy June this year. Where did PMB get 400billion to pay oil marketers...from which purse.

He bailed out state governments with over 700billion..where did he get the money from...all these were not budgeted for in 2015.

Now to fulfil election promise of 5k you are preaching sermon of budget.

PMB and his inner cabinet are sucking us dry...nobody as ministers to tell what came in and how it went out...mind you, no be only you vote PMB, this is almost 6months..
Stop taking that sapele water and think before you type.
