Calabar-Itu highway (the only road linking Cross River to Akwa Ibom State) is currently gridlocked...now the passengers are using fishing boats to continue their journey...God have mercy on those who have failed this Country!

That road is terrible. It's the worst road to travel on rainy season as you won't only be dodging potholes but heavy duty trucks too. Most of the time these trucks collide with themselves or breakdown on the road thereby causing traffic to merge into one single route. The road needs serious rehabilitation and expansion. |
