It’s actually a model’s trick lifting ur head and consciously walking with a faintly arrogant cool sway

They dont smile cos the attention is more on the clothes than the model

Unlike the billboard adverts, the runway requires fierce beauty. The sweet look doesn't work here. The "don't-mess-with-me-look" is the runway trade mark (apart from being tall of course). If you follow "America's Next Top Model" you'll hear Tyra always complimenting that "fierce" look.

its not really about the face, with bodies to kill for, who needs the face, certainly not the designers who seek out unique bodies of (goddesses) to show off their creations.

some models give a 1/3 or half smile though. the way the walk can also make the clothes look better.
