The wrestler called out the Manchester United and England striker on Monday night only to be put back in his place and has returned for more... this time from Old Trafford

Wayne Rooney 'slapped' Wade Barrett during Monday Night Raw and the WWE superstar is not letting the spat lie.

The Manchester United and England captain was in attendance with son Kai at the Manchester Arena before being goaded into the ring by Barrett, real name Stu Bennett, and fellow wrestler Sheamus.

Rooney duly put Barrett in his place, but the wrestler is not letting the beef lie and called out the striker for another stand-off at Old Trafford.

The feud between the pair dates back to February when Barrett accused Rooney of diving to win a penalty as United beat Preston North End in the FA Cup.
