The Igbo youths Movement a socio political organization of the Igbo youths across the states of the federation at its emergency meeting held at Enugu, Enugu state wishes to thank the president, commander in chief, Chief Mohammadu Buhari, the Eze Ogbuagu 1 of Ndigbo on the recent appointment of our brothers to a juicy ministerial position.

The spoke person Nazi Cletus Onyebuchi wishes to on behalf of the entire Igbo youths express our hearty gratitude not only profound but beyond verbal and written expressions.

May the Almighty God who knows and sees in advance continue to guard and protect our president from all adversaries of life, may He bless his days with happiness, good health, peace, joy, long life and prosperity in all aspects of his life.

In fact, if our body is full of mouths, it won't be enough to thank president Buhari but our good God in heaven will bless and reward him.

The President by this appointment has proven that he belongs to nobody and he belongs to everybody.

We wish to cease this opportunity to appeal to all our Igbo brothers and sisters to support the administration of President Buhari as we are convinced that our president is a listening president and that he has the motives and intentions to build the south East to a higher level.

Finally, we wish to dissociate ourselves from the latest protests for the actualization of Biafra and release of the Radio Biafra Director Nnamdi KANU.

We are convinced that the protesters are jobless youths who have been brainwashed by KANU who is using them to gain his daily bread.

It is obvious that no genuine Igbo is in support of the IPOD activities except the brainwashed and guillable youths. We are very much aware that Biafra is dead and buried and can never rise again.

We therefore wish to warn all brainwashed youths to be mindful of there activities and as a matter of urgency desist from all forms of protest.

KANU is not above the law and we are strongly behind the FG for his detention and prosecution following his hate speeches and clamour for war.

These are treasonable offences and we appeal to the FG to prosecute him according to the laws of the Federal republic of Nigeria and if found guilty, he should be jailed as this will serve as a lesson to others.
