If you have ever had a problem with a police man and witnessed how they cook up allegations against citizens then you won't swallow this story at all. Wonder why the reporter didn't include the defendants part of the story. I fear this is another case of a low citizen having issues with a power figure, I can imagine how the investigating officer in charge of this case went the extra mile to ensure the defendant is hooked! 2 Likes |

The lesson here is for all Nigerians to know that even though the then commissioner could personally arrested this this thief but because he knew what the law says he went ahead and reported as expected by law not locking the miscreant up as some would expect him do . And that is CHANGE . |

I would love to believe the story but it has k-leg. What is the evidence to prove he gave bankole those items. How is cable wires and building materials related to the same artisan? Some quantities of tiles, cable wires and cement without stating the exact quantity shows something is fishy and someone wants to use power play here. My opinion 1 Like |
