With reference to the recent Terrorist attacks witnessed in Paris, France. The social media networks have been trending with all sorts of propaganda ranging from "Changing" ur profile photo to the French national flag to show support to the French populace and surprisingly a good percentage of social media sites users have wholeheartedly embraced this clarion call. Now my question is this; Why is it that each time any of the western powers get hit by a catastrophic event, the undue media hype and excessive coverage given to it over shadows every other thing! We get bombed on weekly nay even daily basis here in Africa as well as having other forms of bloodshed n carnage unleashed upon us in our continent yet nobody for once was thoughtful enough to come up with the concept of changing Facebook DP's to the national colours of affected African nations. Enough of all this Western Imperialism. Africans Wake Up.
N.B: I'm using this medium to appeal to whoever was responsible for the Paris attacks, Violence does not pay. Stop the bloodshed. One World, One People. Let's Live in Peace n Unity.
