1 WHY ARE WE PLAYING LONG BALLS? We played under a comfortable homely atmosphere. Infront of our fans and on a good pitch. We don’t understand why we are looping the ball past the midfield when they are as tall as the Super Eagle players?
2 WHY ARE OUR PASSES UNCORDINATED? We don’t understand why we can’t string more than 3 passes in their final third in the first 45 mins. Our passes are either under/over hit or way out of mark. Why??.
3 WHY ARE OUR STRIKERS AND MIDFIELDERS FLAT FOOTED? We don’t understand why our strikers and midfielders are flat footed when we need them to play a good flawless and flowing football against an inferior opponent. This is sad. (But the 2 goals is sweet).
4 WHERE ARE THE OWN GOALS WHEN YOU NEED THEM? We had more than one chance to nick a goal or two via own goal. But we were unlucky not to.Mr Own Goal would have scored 2 goals in the first 45 minutes..
5 WHAT IS THE GAME PLAN OF OLISEH? What style of football are we playing? Defense? Attack? Counter attack? Someone should help tell us please! These are different questions Oga Oliseh needs to answer. But Nigeria are a team with a spine. And we delivered. Thanks to Simon Moses and Oga Ambrose. Now lets get to work before we play the Ghanas, Cameroons and the Egypts of this world. We can do this! What do you think??
