For the past week nw, I've been having severe pain in my left flank around my lower ribs which spreads to the back, and I'm really scared it could be my kidney, I've tried consulting a doctor who happens to be a relative, but he keeps saying it's my muscles since I don't have any other symptoms of kidney disease, please im just scared because I happen to suffer from a family related hypertension, and I'm scared it hasn't affected my kidney, I've also noticed a drastic increase in my blood pressure to 147/85 even though im still less than 20 years old, any advice docs in the house?

For what u wrote up there is not kidney disease, it depends on which side you relax on when u are sleeping it will go and for the Vp are u sure if up to that? And if you drink beer a lot or u take too much of alcoholic drinks please stop.....

Take fluids well. Let's see if u ve any symptoms when u re making urine or passing urine
