Results of the Kogi State governorship election which held yesterday from the wards show that the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abubakar Audu has shot ahead. In some of the wards whose results Sunday Sun obtained Audu posted impressive showing beating his main rival Governor Idris Wada. Governor Idris, has however expressed disatisfactions with the conduct of the election aaleging widespread manipulation, intimidation of voters by security agents. Audu commended the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, saying “so far, so good, it is well organized.” Final declaration of the results by INEC is being expected. bewla: Though an APC member we pray and hope the elections were sincerely free and fair. That aspect of justice speaks volume of the change we all yearned for. When justly and freely organized, the loser will not feel cheated or rubbed of people's mandate. Anyway, Audu all the way. Change change change change. 1 Like |
