Child abuse has been described as the physical ,psychological and emotional forms of maltreatment on a child or young persons. It has been linked with some signs such as: behavioral pattern changes in victims, lack of monitoring,unexplained injuries, changes in eating and sleeping habits.
Causes of child abuses are numerous but few will mentioned..they are : poverty,neglect, peer pressure, dysfunctional family factors,substance abuse,unemployment,inability to control sexual urges.
The whole picture of what an abused child looks like is quite scary and not a sight to be proud of.
Consequences are long lasting and leaves a long.term stain on the victim; some of them are :Highly aggressive behavioral pattern, inability to have interpersonal relationship etc
Child abuse has been in existence since ages,we need to find solutions to curb or reduce this social issue thats trending and destroying family and society at large.
