never heard of broccoli in Nigeria but that's not to say its not there.

there are substitutes though.

You can also try planting your own maybe? I'm not sure what kind of climate it grows in however.

Broccoli grows in cold temperatures and we don't have the facilities for green house yet where we can induce cold temperature, like they induce tropical temperatures here in europe for growing tropical plants and crops

isnt that the same as cauliflower?

i'm sure in lagos those people that sell foreign fruits and veggies will have jare.

at least i still remember that a Mr Biggs outlet in Isolo used cauliflower as one of the veggies in its jollof rice.
so i'm sure one can get fresh ones

it seems broccoli is grown in Kenya and north Africa.

I wonder if it can also grow in a temperate climate like Jos?

I'm sure you can find broccoli in Nigeria.

I've had cauliflower, cabbage, aubergine, squash, etc in Ibadan, so I'm sure you can find broccoli in Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan or one of those places.

Just find out where the expats buy their veggies and I'm sure it will be there.

Revealed: WHERE IS THE CHEAPEST PLACE TO BUY FRESH FOOD ITEMS IN ABUJA.

It is not Wuse Market, it is not Garki Int. Market, No, it is not Karimo Market. Wrong again, it is not Nyanya market and it is definitely not Utako market.

The right answer is Belle.ng. Yes, that's right and surprisingly so. Take for instance, this Belle Full Indomie Noodles costs about #200 - #250 in other markets, but it is sold for as low as #130 here https://belle.ng/indomie-instant-noodles-belle-full-chicken-flavour . This giant snails costs between #450-#550 each in Wuse Market. Get it for just #199 on Belle.ng here
https://belle.ng/giant-snail-1-big-size .
This crate of eggs goes for between #1100-#1300 elswhere, get it for just #890 here https://belle.ng/egg-crate-of-30. This big, live catfish sells for #1300 elsewhere but buy it for just #700 here https://belle.ng/cat-fish-cut.

This Smoked Goat Head costs between #900-#1500 in other markets. Get it as low as #600 only on Belle.ng here https://belle.ng/goat-head-smoked.

There are more exciting offers in store. Enjoy the tour and please, don't fail to share this good news with your yard people.

Broccoli is a vegetable that loves sun and cool season, for now it is the number one best vegetable in the world. It is rich in vitamins, such as vitamin A and minerals; folic acid, fiber, iron and potassium. Broccoli farming is lucrative because after harvesting the main head it will keep producing smaller side-shoots for several months.

Nigeria is not known for Broccoli farming nor other exotic vegetables such as; Cauliflower, Celery, Beetroth. Yet the consumption is increasing even within the locals and so we are missing plenty money. Broccoli is sold only in few places such as super malls, online stores and foreign fruits and vegetable sellers in big cities; Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt etc.

You can plant broccoli in your backyard garden in a container or go into commercial broccoli farming. It can be done successfully with the guidelines in this post. The most important thing is to know the right variety to cultivate
