PDP, snoring as APC assumes position of ruling and opposition, By Audu O. Audu

The clock ticks quicker than usual with the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, yet to identify with the role expected of an opposition party, and it has become apparent that perhaps they are yet to come to terms with the obvious reality.

While they keep snoring, the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has upheld their role of the opposition even while in power.

Rather than developing astute moves that will match a ruling party, with enormous opposition experience, the PDP has rushed to zone the 2019 presidential slot to the North and gone back to slumber, lost in the dream of regaining power soon.

It is no longer news that the APC led government has encroached further into the media houses by enticing them to give excuses for their flaws and grant them soft landings in controversial issues.

The PDP, instead of making the most of the frequent gaffes by the ruling party since the 29th day of May, to regain consciousness, has continued to rely on Olisa Metuh’s grandstanding press releases.

Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State clearly does Metuh’s job better, he at least knows

Truth!! I expected Pdp to fire Apc when the issue of Remita came up. I was expecting Pdp to come out in full force and dislodge Apc's claims about TSA, Remita and 1% deal - only for Fayose to opened his buccal cavity asked Apc to tell Nigerians the truth about the owners of Remita, why must they allow Apc to tell us when we have an opposition who we rely on to enlighten and save us from the propaganda of Apc. They have allowed Apc to hijack the show/topic. The effort used to reply Lai Mohammed could have been used to tell Nigerians every fact and date about TSA which would be difficult for Apc to counter. Pdp has not been living up to expectation as an opposition party, they need to restructure Asap!!

PDP is only leaving the APC to self destruct ..
..How can you be ruling and opposing yourself

..How can a man hear the news of his victory and die
