EgunMogaji: mufutau55: This "Nigeriana" is on the ride and watching closely too . I bought a very bad plot of land (in terms of soil texture) in Gbagada that has defied economic logic for any commercial residential purposes so I am fast forwarding my dream of owning a hospitality/sports bar and this container stuff may just be it. 8 Likes |

Very nice.... I see a lot of non-traditional building materials: iron floor joists, plywood, and is that straight wood for the ceiling? I can't find anything longer that 1 foot that's straight. 1 Like |

EgunMogaji: Tee hee hee... I remember that convo . I looked into using insulation for my solar hostel project, but for now the cost is a bit too much. I'm considering using vines and plants to keep direct sunlight off the walls... Alternatively, you could build two walls (separated by an air gap) for the sides that get the most sunlight, like here: http://www.kotaronishiki.com/ 2 Likes

Can this building be moved in whole, that is after breaking off the foundation? I am asking just in case landlord decides to use his land for other purposes or even council problem. 5 Likes |
