I know it's not a N50million project in Lekki but just know that this Americana is following you attentively.

You are not the only one Boss. Thanks OP.

I'm just shocked at the high price of 40 foot containers in Nigeria.

This "Nigeriana" is on the ride and watching closely too grin grin grin. I bought a very bad plot of land (in terms of soil texture) in Gbagada that has defied economic logic for any commercial residential purposes so I am fast forwarding my dream of owning a hospitality/sports bar and this container stuff may just be it.

Very nice.... I see a lot of non-traditional building materials: iron floor joists, plywood, and is that straight wood for the ceiling? I can't find anything longer that 1 foot that's straight.

So basically you're going to insulate the wall.

Very nice.

In a previous discussion some mouth breathers were in a hullabaloo that we don't need insulation in Nigeria.

Excellent.

Tee hee hee... I remember that convo cheesy. I looked into using insulation for my solar hostel project, but for now the cost is a bit too much. I'm considering using vines and plants to keep direct sunlight off the walls...

Alternatively, you could build two walls (separated by an air gap) for the sides that get the most sunlight, like here:

Can this building be moved in whole, that is after breaking off the foundation? I am asking just in case landlord decides to use his land for other purposes or even council problem.

My friend did you not read the section where the OP talked about how he will insulate the structure from external heat? Somebody is showing us something he has been doing for long and you wey never even hold hammer to knock nail is busy issuing instruction...

Thanks for your obtuse response... my statement was not an instruction but a question.
