They will give you another course if you are an indigene.

Don't give people false hope either. Ask anyone you know, delsu doesn't give admission to you for other course if you didn't beat your departmental cut off point unless something happened about it

I narrowly pasted last year cut of mark by just 1...after dividing my jamb score by 8 and post ume by 2 I arrived at 69 and pharmacy cut off mark was 68 last year...is there any hope for me

What was your scores and Waec grades, also you have a very good chance of being admitted but know that professional courses uses and slot system.

False hope? I'm not giving anyone false hope. We are in the same situation. If we don't get our preferred course,we'll buy the supplementary form and change course.
By the way,last year,Delsu gave admissions to the catchment area indigenes including those who didn't reach their cut off marks.
BTW- Let us wait for the cut off marks first.

Best of luck, cut off should be out after school senate meeting. Hope you are aware lots if people bought that form last year and we're not considered for anything as well, admission issues is more complicated than you imagine it

How to pass UNILORIN post Utme

As usual, the post UTME exercise is purely CBT exam and the subjects are divided into 3 which are majorly Use of English, few Maths and general subject (irrespective of your course).
On the rate of 50%, English takes 40% while Maths and General subject takes 5% each as well.


Unilorin major area of concentration is *CONCORD*, you can’t escape it (and they like setting the exception of the rules).
Secondly, you must be good with spellings because, you’ll come across it a lot (especially those that’ll write theirs in the first and second day), Spellings like, pronunciation, accommodation, liaison, broccoli and all sorts like that.


Then synonyms and antonyms as well, few stress (including emphatic
stress), question tag, few phrase and clause etc
In Mathematics , make sure you know probability, change of subject, *words problem in general*, simple interest and some little general mathematics (though there will be
few questions on it).
But in general paper (including current affairs), they use to ask *some common things* in biology or geography, though it won’t be more than 2 out of the five and the rest is current affairs.
I could remember one question then, I was asked that _“A formal Nigeria CBN Governor is a Monarch in the capital city of his state, what’s the name and the state?”_
That’s how UNILORIN used to twist their questions, but it is fun.

Amen o. Let us just wait for the cut off marks...although i am still kinda skeptical about the screening result. I don't know if they will divide our jamb by 8. I am just as hopeful as you are.
