This is a silly season in British Premier League. It's a season where the usual suspects are beaten with a ridiculous scoreline. The defending Champions Chelsea look a ghost of a team that won the league last season with only three defeats in 38 matches. They have lost seven out of thirteen this term and their misery seems to have no end. Manchester United look wobbled, and continue to drop points in matches they should have won convincingly. Liverpool has shown signs of recovery under Klopp, though not well enough to be considered outrightly as title contenders. Man City have lost their initial momentum since West Ham United exposed their weaknesses in September. They seem to struggle each time captain Kampany isn't playing.

Leister City FC is on top of the premier league after 13 matches. That's a sign of a silly season. It's a season that would be won by a hungry, not necessarily a big team. Valencia, Dortmund and Atletico Madrid are teams that sprung in recent years to win their respective leagues, when the usual suspects were not doing well.
Arsenal has been an average team for a decade but there are signs of great improvement in the team. With Ozil, Sanchez and Cech already added to a decent team, Arsenal could surprise everyone by winning the title in May 2016.
