BIAFRA
Dear biafrans,
please take a leaf from the north...learn from boko haram...learn from those who threatened themselves in 2011 saying the country would be made ungovernable...
when bombs are thrown in the north...who are the casualties? muslims...northerners
when mosques and churches are burnt ...which region suffers more? northerners...
are there IDP's in the east?
no...all in the north...
their economy is a wasteland...their schools aren't functioning...their business are not flowing....the supply chain there has been broken...
why
they chose to inflict pains of themselves...themselves!
not Nigeria...not the ZOO land as you call it...
back to the situation now...
Onitsha is the biggest market in west africa...
exportation and importation of goods take place day and night there...but for days now...businesses have been shut...cars have been stopped from going in or out? to what end??
you are killing the so called economy that keeps the east functioning...
in ABA markets are shut....in onitsha...markets are shut...peolpe are "forced" to stay indoors...
to what end? why destroy what u have when u arent sure of getting another?
why destroy our economy by ourselves? why?? if after halting economic growth and BIAFRA doesn't hold...do we start afresh to build what we already had?
who suffers it?
is it nigeria aka...ZOO land??
my answer is NO...
the east will suffer for any harm done to their economy all in pursuit of BIAFRA...
let's not throw caution to the wind...
yours sincerely...
A NIGERIAN....

Mr man, read between the lines. You think this Biafran protest is just about Mazi Kanu? It's much bigger than that, it is about freedom. Without freedom, you are nothing. The 3 million people you are talking about was killed by your so called Nigerian Government. Those people were enjoying themselves in the east when your so called Government said "we must all be one Nigeria"! And came down to east to kill them. If Nigeria can do that, why would anybody want to be part of Nigeria? The Biafran protest has been peaceful weeks now despite the intimidation harassment and killings of unarmed protesters. Yesterday, the same terrorist Government stepped up its game by raining diwn bullets on unarmed people. And here you are talking about economy while your Government is killing people in cold blood. Your not ashamed of your self

I will start this write up with a quote so dear to me.... Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves. ~Abraham Lincoln...

For those of you saying that self rule is stupidity, I laugh at them, maybe we have to say that the Jews were silly when they wanted their country, maybe we can confidently say that the Catalonians are silly for wanting their own state from Spain, maybe we can say the Kurds are silly for wanting their own state from turkey, maybe we can say that the Irish were silly for having Ireland...maybe we can say that Singapore where silly for wanting out of Malaysian confederation, maybe Qatar were silly for stepping out of Oman, maybe we can say that Quebec region is silly for wanting out of Canada.

The ability to have freedom is important and there is no stupidity in it, to me what is silly is taking it violent. But I have come to realise that the Blackman has refused to evolve, his evolution stopped at the HOMO ERECTUS stage where as other races has evolved to HOMO SAPIENS and SAPIENS SAPIENS stage. What is wrong in calling the aggrieved party as it was done in UK, and as it is done in SPAIN ...let there be referendum and dialogue, but the average Blackman with his black mind and negroid mentality will draft army to go and shoot protest.

We do not have capacity to invent anything meaningful apart from wickedness and witchcraft, but why can’t us at lease copy what the whites have invented and one of them is rubber bullets and tranquilizers. We can at least use rubber bullet to disperse these people, and then call for a truce and round table discussion. But the issue is that Blackman has refused to think and evolve. that is why we are in this mess today. A country created by the whites (Race) and some people are saying that there are some lacuna and fractures in this country..We want out but we can still be friends, To me I do not see why people should call this silly

To me, I abhore anything violent and I believe in the power of dialogue. I condemn the killings in totality be it on the part of the protest and more especially on the part of the Army. I am an Igbo man but I have to see logicality in things. I do not know why people should get terrified and petrified at the mere mention of Biafra or IPOB. The global community is watching, information is at a finger tip and more especially we the African must and have to show the world that we are matured and can handle our affairs maturely. We must show the world that everything is not violent and killing. If you have been to WEST you will understand the notion of BLACKS, the Blackman is seen as not been able to think, not been able to use methodology to sort his problem out, and not been able to use dialogue to solve issues but resorts to violence. This can be seen from the hoods of Campton to Brooklyn to philly. The poorest countries in WESTERN HEMISHPERE are countries governed by blacks such as Haiti et al.

Biafra can be possible, Biafra possibility and viability doesn’t stop Biafra relationship with Nigeria. The way Nepal hasn’t stopped cordial relationship with India nor Hong Kong stopping relationship with Mainland China. I just keep asking why can’t we African think, must we be violent. There can be Biafra and other countries but in a confederation form, something we have in United Kingdom.
A brief lecture on confederation

A confederation (also known as confederacy or league) is a union of political units for common action in relation to other units.[1] Usually created by treaty but often later adopting a common constitution, confederations tend to be established for dealing with critical issues (such as defense, foreign affairs, or a common currency), with the central government being required to provide support for all members.
The nature of the relationship among the states constituting a confederation varies considerably. Likewise, the relationship between the member states, the central government, and the distribution of powers among them is highly variable. Some looser confederations are similar to intergovernmental organizations and even may permit secession from the confederation. Other confederations with stricter rules may resemble federations. A unitary state or federation may decentralize powers to regional or local entities in a confederal form.
In Canada, the word confederation has an additional, unrelated meaning.[2] "Confederation" refers to the process of (or the event of) establishing or joining the Canadian federal state.

In the context of the history of the indigenous peoples of the Americas, a confederacy may refer to a semi-permanent political and military alliance consisting of multiple nations (or "tribes", "bands", or "villages" which maintained their separate leadership.
On a closing remark, the Blackman must evolve and the blackman must show the world that we can handle our affairs. Putting Nnamdi Kanu in jail isn’t dialogue not maturity but I see it as intimidation and mind you might isn’t right in anyway. Using live bullet on civilians protesting either violently or non violently, to me I see it as barbaric and stupidity. The earlier we open up for dialogue and engagement the better for us. We Africans must stop been laughed at.

History does not teach fatalism. There are moments when the will of a handful of free men breaks through determinism and opens up new roads.
~Charles de Gaulle

Liberty is the possibility of doubting, of making a mistake,... of searching and experimenting,... of saying No to any authority — literary, artistic, philosophical, religious, social, and even political.

You should have asked Nigeria to first ban the part of the constitution which allows any body freedom of movement and expression first before announcing a ban on protest. Your Nigerian Government can even follow it's own laws

when your freedom of movement impairs my own freedom of movement, then my brother, it is called abuse of freedom. Why block off the bridge? are all igbos biafrans or IPOB? why restrict our freedom of movement? Why force biafra and IPOB on me? Do you see where you erred?

Your problem is that you have the mentality of someone who lives inside a box. This usually comes from many years of believing you are a Nigerian. You are asking if we are in bondage? We have been in bondage since Lugard came to west Africa to create and bastardise us with the name "Nigeria". The country you call Nigeria is just the colonial invention of the White man and that's why it is a fraud. The constitution you are talking about is an illegal document since nobody agreed to Nigeria in the first place. This Nigeria you see right now has not one iota of legitimacy, infact, Biafra has more legitimacy because it is indigenous Africans who are clamouring for it, unlike Nigeria that created by British fiat. So it doesnt matter if Biafrans want their own country because Jonathan lost or because it didn't snow in Sokoto yesterday, when Biafrans demand their freedom, it must be given to them. Anyone who wants Nigeria can go and contact Lugard in Britain. Self determination is a right not a privilege

Who forced IPOB or Biafra on you? Did anybody force you to any IPOB registration centre? The Biafra protesters have made it clear that what they want is a referendum which is a democratic thing. If you are not a democratic person then that's not my problem. As for blocking the head bridge or any road, that why the police are there for. The Police should have used crowd control measures to create room for traffick. In other civilised countries, people regularly protest along side free flow of traffick with the police designating areas of protest and areas of vehicle movement. But because Nigeria is a backward country with an uncivilised police force, their own idea of crowd control is to open fire on defenceless people.

Terrorist? The same protesters have no guns, have no bombs and up until yesterday when the police decided to provoke the protesters by shooting them, no act of mayhem was attributed to them. The real terrorists are the Nigerian security agents who are shooting unarmed people. Now, Biafran protesters are being radicalised by the day by the action of the police. Whenever the issue of Biafra comes up, Nigeria will bring violence into it. I had hopes that Biafra will come peacefully through referendum but I'm
starting to accept that violent armed struggle is the only language Nigeria understands. I definitely do not expect the Biafran protesters to fold their hands get killed everyday
