I wander what is so important about this Democracy Day that our various government are spending a lot of money to celebrate. Borno State Government spent a whopping N360m to renovate Ramat Square (venue of the celebration). All in all Borno State will spend around N3b for the celebration.

Please i dont want to start approximating the sum of money spent by state government by simply multiplying N3b by 36 and get the total sum cos i believe we still have some reasonable Governors that will not spend this much on Democracy Day to celebrate nothing.

Please if you know how much your state spent on Democracy Day help tell us. So that we would know how shamelessly our Governors are spending our money.
