Being a christian by birth does't mean u r saved. I seriously need advice on how to grow and remain a vibrant spirit filled man. As young man in early twenties, eventhoug I attend church i am not a devoted child of God. I often have the urge to change but anytime I try, I will b crippled by sin. Masturbation, pornography, fornication, lie e.t.c. I don't wish to continue like this. I love God but am a sinner. You won't understand me if I don't share what am passing through. Recently, i had this same urge 2 move closer 2 God. I started by praying every morning nd evening b4 going 2 work nd even intense study of d bible 2 d extent dat i bought an exercise bk 4 all my bible activities. For more than 2 weeks, it worked, I could feel d holy spirit, I felt changes in life until...

fornication came with pre warnings but I didn't realise. I felt it dat a temptation was coming 2ru a lady nd dat I shld b careful bcause smtin good is being prepared ahead 4 me. I thouht it will be coming from the student I am teaching because I work in a private secondary school. I saw it as no challenge since I knw I can never engage with in such with any student.

It all started when some undergradutes were posted 4 6weeks training. 7 ladies were posted, for the first week, there was no problem, it was all greetings. Not until the third week that she started been extra nice, caring, buying of gifts, but I was not careful. She was so nice( wife material) I though of considering her as a future wife.

To cut d long story short, I had sex with her, more than once b4 she finished her training. She is gone, im bk 2 my old self, condemned, sinner, nt willin 2 pray, I dnt even read my bible again. To my amazement, she did exactly wat dat co-worker told me, after gettin wat she wants she wounldn't nt want hear 4rm me nt 2 talk of calling. Deep down in me, I knw im gone, i want 2 begin a seven days fasting nd prayer 2mao, if God can restore me. I dnt even knw wat 2 pray about, where 2 read. Pls advise.

..... Bros.... Dat lady was a distraction.... She was supposed to tempt u buh u couldn't overcome d temptation..... U nid to still go bck to God and ask for mercy.... Acknowledge that u are a sinner and seek spiritual counseling from ur pastor.... Or better still tell God to help u...... It may be Dat God wanted you to avoid d lady (overcome the temptation)... Maybe d lady has taken away ur glory or something tangible in ur lyf.... U rili nid to seek d face of God and pray... And everything will fall back in place
