I am worried about the future of our country. I have no issue with Mr President travelling for his numerous international engagements. I am very worried about the dwindling voice of Nigeria at world stage. I am worried about seeming alienation of Nigeria even in Africa. I am worried that everywhere you listen to our President, he is either talking about tackling terrorism or fighting war against corruption. As good as these two issues are, they are boring at that stage.

I am worried that those that are supposed to assist him to project Nigeria for development are being shoved aside while he run back to inner circle of sycophants and political marauders around him to draft his agendas. I am worried that every reasonable suggestion to move us away from current quagmire is treated with disdain. I am worried that even in Africa, while in recent past Nigeria occupies central position in Africa and by so doing, push Africa's agenda, but today, Nigeria's voice is not heard on any matter regarding Africa.

I am worried about our bilateral relationships. I can recall that a Chinese firm was amongst the first investors that made proposal to the then President-Elect on high-speed train. The President's men shut them down, their thinking was that President Jonathan was close to China at the expense of the West. They thought going West will shore-up their image and become more productive. These men embark on clandestine move to frustrate several Chinese sponsored projects on-going in the country. The outcome, China cut their crude oil purchase from Nigeria, double their ties with Angola. As we speak today, Nigeria has over 40 million barrels of crude oil on high sea not sold. US and her aligns are no longer dependable partner.

Suddenly, PMB's administration have a renewed interest in China. I am worried because those that are at the fore-front of this renewed interest should have told PMB the blatant truth. They should have told him about the frustration of the company handling Abuja-Kaduna railway, a project that has gone about 75%. They should inform him about the frustration of the company handling remodelling of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja with his government. They should have told him to refrain some of his 'over-sabi' lieutenants that made China cut its crude oil purchase from Nigeria. They should have told him about the wisdom that informed the decision of former President to domicile our foreign reserve in Yuan rather than the US dollar in the face of growing China-Nigeria trade.

The current gibberish by Mallam Sheu Garba about Lagos-Calabar Railway and 3,070 Megawatt Mambilla Dam agreements is for the undiscerned. The Mambilla Dam has been contracted with 15% counter-part fund paid by the past administration. Lagos-Calabar railway agreement only exist in Garba's imagination, there is no discussion nor agreement in Jo'burg that borders on that with Xi Jinping.

While, I hope some day, they will wake from their somnambulism, I am worried for the time they are wasting.

Fighting corruption is not boring. The rhetoric about fighting corruption is boring. When that is the only thing you go to world stage to say, it becomes very boring.

PMB's closeness to the US makes China withdraw their support for Nigeria.
He need more than China-Africa Summit to bring back the confidence of Chinese government in Nigeria.

well, At-least Jonathan stood up to the west... when america wanted our support to invade Libya, we gave but when Nigeria requested weapons for battling boko haram, they refused. Nigeria is the future giant of Africa eventually in the future, and the US realise, if they stay in control of our top politicians they'll have a lot to gain. Nigeria, should stop with the subordination towards the west... They don't care about Africa, they only want relationships that favours only them.

Anyone still remember the EPA contract with ECOWAS that the European union has been trying to force on us, it is suppose to make the whole of west Africa reliant on EU for goods, and prevent industrialization in West African countries, also the EU will be responsible for regulating the EPA, therefore Africa will have No say in the relationship... Jonathan voted against it, when some other African countries like Ghana already accepted it.

The EPA is the beginning of Jonathan's problem with the West. That is why they did everything to force him out. They saw him as a threat to their agenda.

You don't have to be a PDP to be a wailer. John the Baptist was a wailer, Nigerians are wailers simply because they disagree with the modus operandi of the present administration, Haba! If Dannytosh took time to go through the post, there are salient points he would have taken home and see how we can fashion out solutions to them.
Supporters of Mr President must realise that all Nigerians have a bona-fide stake in PROJECT NIGERIA and that Nigerians are not a Conquered Nation by the APC, that we must grovel when talking about Leaders who won an HISTORIC MANDATE they are finding difficult to use for our COLLECTIVE BENEFIT.
Mr President has a short period of 2years 6months to fix Nigeria, therefore he must listen to all side and weigh options. This was the same mistake the PDP made by thinking that they are INVINCIBLE before they were humbled out of office by the Apc, with thier tail tuck under thier legs like scurrying dogs. Listen to other views, no Government policy is cast in STONE.
