There are five (5) states in the east
Which of these states will be the capital if eventually, Biafra is declared
Each states will claim to be in pole position to be the capital stating they did more than the other to deserve it in their struggle
The present governors will be cast aside except those secretly aiding the fight
There will be internal fights and possible bloodsheds during power struggle
The high rate of importation known to be done mostly by Ibo business men will reduce as well as profits.
High duties charge will be placed on those of them who still want to do business in Nigeria
It will be a while before foreign investors come to Biafra due to low commercial stance
Etc..... Is Biafra worth the struggle... Think of the food they benefit from the north and other resources from other regions.
Freedom looks sweet to the young but the elders know what is at stake

Bullshyt. Your importers are free to direct their consignments to the other SS ports so that excuse doesn't hold water. But then again maybe it's our lovely beaches. cheesy

On a more serious note, even if you all were to start patronizing the other ports, sooner than later you will begin claiming you 'developed' the place, and that it is a no-man's land and having problems with your hosts. Face it -- you are experts at courting trouble with your hosts wherever you are.

How can a Nigeria be a visitor in his own country? This shows how's how we are yet a country

Per the bolded, Ndiigbo do have any bit of obsession with Lagos. The fact remains Lagos was developed with collective capital generated by the entire population of Nigeria and as such Lagos is a domain of all Nigerians. No Yoruba chap ever became the minister of Lagos yet few ninnies on NL are arrogating everything about Lagos to Yoruba. This nonsensical arrogation of unfounded ownership of Lagos to Yoruba is another reason agitation for Biafra is aptly necessary.

When you get your biafra. ..Lagos won't be part of it smiley

As such, Lagos remains with the Federal Republic. You gonna need a passport and a Visa to enter it.

There is no Igwe of Lagos
There is no Obi of Lagos

Nairalanders and Nigerians keep proving right, those who said half Education is a disease.

Nairaland is filled with graduates with empty heads, teenagers, hypocrites, people who think from their hungry stomach and hate filled heart.

Why are Nigerians hostile to anything Biafran? Why not put up an objective and intelligent counter idea or keep quiet. So, to these empty heads, a protest in lagos is a means of taking your land away from you? Since Biafra protest began in UK, US, France, etc have you seen where biafrans took over their land? Lagos like Abuja are important cities in Nigeria. Lagos is owned by yorubas, Abuja by Northerners, but these two cities were developed by Nigerians and Nigerian oil, as Capitals of Nigeria. No, You can't say Lagos was developed by Yorubas or Abuja by Northerners. But Yes, you can tell me Ogun was developed by Yorubas, Kano was developed by Northerners or Enugu was developed by Igbos. So those say saying Igbos are obsessed with Lagos or saying protest can't be conducted in Lagos should go re-read Nigerian constitution and UN decree on self determination. Peaceful protest are allowed anywhere in Nigerian, and Biafrans staging a protest in Lagos doesn't mean they want to take Lagos away from Yorubas.

The current protest is mostly sustained by IPOB because Nnamdu Kanu was arrested. This protest isn't about Buhari's government, for those saying it's politically motivated, political elites in igboland are not yet officially in support. And, Biafra agitation has been on even before GEJ and remained through his administration but the poor handling by Buhari's administration is about to stir up another unrest. Since Kanu started Radio Biafra have you seen any Igbo attack any church, mosque, any Nigerian? People have been peacefully agitating until Buhari made Radio Biafra and Nnamdi Kanu celebrities.

To set the records straight, Nnamdi Kanu isn't the spokes person of Biafra. He is just like every other agitators. There are many other groups agitating for Biafra. If he has made any inflammatory statements, he needs to clear himself, but one thing I must say is that he spoke a lot of truth about Nigeria's situation and Buhari arresting Nnamdi Kanu at this point was ill timed, and even unnecessary.

However, before we pass judgement, because I know anything igbo is to be condemned without fairness, let's be fair for once in this country...Buhar after 2011 election said if what happened at the election repeats again, dogs and baboons will soak in blood Alhaji Lawan Kaita said that if GEJ becomes the president of Nigeria, they will make this country Ungovernable, Oba of Lagos during 2015 election said if igbos don't vote for Ambode, they will be drowned in lagoons, El Rufai refered to a sitting president(GEJ) as a Terrorist, The list is endless, and these people are walking freely in Nigeria today.

If Biafra is actualized, it's beneficial to the whole Nigeria because we all know, Nigeria will cease to exist. Yorubas, Northerners and other tribes will pull out as well. So, if you can't be objective or know nothing about how this type of agitation for sovereignty goes, I suggest you stay clear and learn, rather than post something you won't be proud of when you eventually get knowledge.

“Although the Igbos do not allow Yoruba such freedom in their
region as they enjoy in South West, it is not a reason to go against
their decision to self determination.
This claim is unfounded. The Igbos are known to be one of the most tolerant tribes in Naija. Hardly will you hear of a minority tribe(Yoruba, hausa) in the East complain of discrimination / antagonization by the Igbos,...Wonder what is fueling this fallacy.

“The position of OPC on self determination is clear as we are in
support of true Federalism and Statism, but we are not in anyway
against the choice of Ibos to self determination.”
some people will Def not gonna like this, especially the federalism and statism part.

In that case, it is now suffice to say that Nnamdi Kanu is certainly a miscreant and a savage. It is on record that he once told his listerners to kill Pastor Adeboye, Pastor Kumuyi, and to burn all Yoruba owned churches in the south east.

Here is a video clip of him asking the igbos in diaspora to donate him money that would be used to buy guns and ammunitions to wage war against the Nigerian state

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xU2JtlUF6M

it would have been nice if you had provided a single evidence or proofs of kanu telling anyone one to kill those men you've just mentioned.

Resentments towards others might oneday blowup in your face leaving you helpless. Latter you'll be saying its the handy work of your village witches.

I love you tho...

It is only savage and miscreants that threatens war and dispossession of other men's property when the issue of secession is mentioned.

The worst is that these anti-Biafra are the most haters of the Igbos and their progresses claiming to know what's best for the Biafrans.

I can understand when a loved one wants to say goodbye but the logic of living with "a supposed hated parasite" is beyond logic.
You do not eat you cake n have it. You can not achieve Biafra n still be grandstanding in Nigeria.

The Jews tried it the result is holocaust

You can not have your own country n tell another country who should own n not own properties within another sovereign nation.

That is the reason Russia as no say over the old soviet territories after the break up of the USSR. Same reason the UK as no say in what happen in Ireland. You simply would not have any right to complain about whatever treatment good or bad meted out to you. There is no sweet break up n it won't start with Nigeria.

The Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) on Saturday said its attention has been drawn to news “circulating in the media, some with the picture of its National Coordinator, Otunba Gani Adams kicking against the plan of pro-Biafra group to stage their protest in Lagos.”

Is this not the same Gani Adams who colluded with GEJ loot our treasury when he was awarded a last minute "pipe line monitoring deal?
Is this not the same gani Adams who went against the decision of all well-meaning Yorubas, that Jonathan and his PDP Govt are inimical to the wellbeing of Nigerians?

Gani Adams should shut-de-phuckUp!
No one reckons with him from time.
he is a sell-out and a "ma-of-the-belly".

Na wetin im go chop, im dey find.

Let them protest in their enclave on at the federal capital, we dont support nor want their disturbance in Yorubaland.

you could as well tell your Yoruba brothers in the east to do likewise, I don't even know if you guys think its only the Igbo's that are living outside their country homes?
I still can't even phantom what you most (not all anyway) Yoruba's problems or headache is when Igbo's are asking for there freedom? if you don't feel comfortable with that I think the best thing you could do is keeping quite or ask for your own separatism! must you guys always kick against the Igbo's agitations if not that the trace of hate is in most of your blood?

This is so funny. So Lagos is nonsensically arrogated to Yoruba undecided I don't know when land owners and sons of the soil now have it by nonsensical arrogation According to your logic, Abuja and Newyork are merely arrogated to Hausas and American respectively, they aint sons of the soil.

Your greed and covetousness have completed blinded your vision and reasoning. I can't believe a person can think that because Abuja is Nigerian's capital developed with Nigerian money, the indigenous Hausas have lost ownership. Pls are you preparing for common entrance examination?
