capture). So therefore for those planning to get multiple form, be careful to avoid any conflicting case.

The sale of DE scratch cards Might begin immediately after the completion of UTME exams & releasing of their results. Just keep up to 6,000naira for the DE scratch card

Once the form is out, You can get your 2016/17. JAMB Direct Entry scratch card from FIRST CITY MONUMENT BANK, Zenith Bank Plc and JAMB Offices NationWide. So just keep calm.

The first step in the Direct entry process is to purchase the JAMB DE form first.

Requirements for University Direct Entry
Admission

A. Candidates must posses a minimum of five
subjects passed at not more than two sittings with at least two at the Principal or Advanced level of the
G.C.E. and the others, at credit level of the SSCE'/
GCE, NTC/NBC. No subject shall be counted at both
Ordinary and Advanced levels.

B. Two passes at the IJMB Advanced Level
Examination or Cambridge moderated Schools of
Basic Studies Terminal Examination or Institute of
Baccalaureate from recognized institutions with
SSCE/GCE, NTS/NBC credits equivalent in three other subjects.

C. Passes in two major subjects in the NCE with
S.S.C.E, NTC/NBC credits or equivalents in THREE
other subjects (mainly for Education Courses).
Education may be accepted as a third A’Level subject for those taking courses in Education.

Hello Everyone. I can sight so many people here. It's my prayer that for all those applying into the premier university this year will be admitted successfully. Asides you having a good grade (Both CPGA & O'level), please do not underestimate the powers of prayer due to the level of competition among direct entry candidates, in total only 4008 students (Both DE & UTME) got admitted into the university, UTME candidates gets large quota as compared to DE candidates who are left with limited space just to fight for. I'm a student, I'm currently in 300 level, I got admitted into the university during 2014/2015 set, the 2015/2016 set was a very tough quest as there was increased numbers of candidates that applied into UI the UTME Candidates were more than 25,000 candidates only 9,000 got screened, the DE Candidates who applied were more than 3,000, after all and sundry only 4,008 students were admitted. So therefore 2016/2017 set, you've to tighten your belt, when the Jamb direct entry form is released & all is processed, Do not forget to submit your transcript, it is Very important, admission office team always look for ways to disqualify candidates at the slightest mistake.

You should have a very good chance. Since Distinction is your opium. It'd be great you have good O'levels too. But all in all, just like dearpiriye would say, pray fervently as prayer works wonders!

since it's within the engineering jurisdiction, there shouldn't be an hiatus to that. But I think it would be wise enough if you can put in ditto for Mechanical Engineering. Wanderin from one course to another is not always the opium of UI. I got this info from last year thread.

In the olden days, you can obtain even up to four, but nowadays, you CAN'T. The simple reason being that when you do a single registration, your biometric shall be captured which wouldn't avail you the opportunity of obtaining any other form bearing the same identity. People who does MORE THAN ONE are automatically DISQUALIFIED! Prevention they say, is better than cure; GET WISDOM!

If I had been in your shoes, I wouldn't have changed my course. I instead would have gone straight for the course I read in my Diploma. Besides, Distinction Students MAY also be applyin for the other courses that you so may wish to change to, and University of Ibadan loathes wanderin from course to course especially when they are already overwhelmed with the number of Applications in the course in discourse. I'd advise you go ditto for Agric Engineering. Forward your transcript and be prayerful.

"Candidates must have at least 5 Credits in O'level at a sitting or 6 Credits in two sittings except otherwise for Medicine and Surgery..." that's what goes in the brochure. You're good to go..
