The Education and Health Committee set up by Kebbi State government to investigate the two sectors has made a startling revelation in the course of its preliminary investigation. The spokesperson of the committee, Alhaji Sani Dododo, at a press conference at Government House in Birnin Kebbi, revealed that about 25,000 primary school teachers and 10,000 secondary school teachers were discovered as ghost workers, while a whopping N25million was discovered in the Local Government Education Authority. Dododo also said that the committee has also discovered over 200 fake schools which the committee could not see on ground but their staff salaries were included in the government payroll.
