Chelsea confirmed this afternoon the appointment of Carlo Ancelloti as their new manager after he mutually agreed a parting of the ways with Italian giants AC Milan on Sunday. Ancelloti comes with the type of credentials to appease chelsea fans (having won the UEFA Champions League title twice, one scudetto and coppa italia in his eight years in charge with the Rossoneri) most pinning for Guus Hiddink to stay or longing for Jose Mourinho to return. Will he prove a success in the premier league? Can he serve up a Champion's League title the club's fan so desperately crave? |
