PDP offers APC support in fight against Boko Haram​

The opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has stated that it is fully behind President Muhammadu Buhari in the ongoing fight against Boko Haram insurgency in the North East.
​The spokesperson of the party, Olisa Metuh, made the disclosure at the PDP National Secretariat, Abuja on Friday when he received a delegation from the Northern Youth Network, NYN, who paid him a courtesy call.
Mr. Metuh, while responding to a comment by the leader of the delegation, Mike Msuaan, that the APC-led government had apparently failed to fulfill its promise of ending insurgency, said the PDP deliberately refused to criticize the APC on its promise to end insurgency within a specified period.
“We are completely in support of the government in the war against insurgency,” he said.

INEC should conduct all rerun elections immediately
Mr. Metuh also reacted to recent “gale” of cancellation of elections by some National Assembly members and senators, calling on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to immediately conduct elections in areas where rerun were ordered.
He said delay in conducting the rerun elections could deny many communities in Nigeria to have representations when key decisions are taken, especially with regards to ongoing budgeting processes.
“INEC should strive to hold elections within 30 days where possible in areas where rerun were ordered,” he said.
Mr. Metuh also said the PDP was confident of winning all the seats it lost in the last election as “Nigerians have now seen the mistake of voting for APC”.
Commenting on the stalemated Bayelsa governorship election, the PDP spokesperson said the party “would never allow anyone to take its right”.

You see, even the PDP, is not afraid of the silly appeal court rulings. We have APC's medicine. We will pour it down their throats when the elections are held. You don't know how much was poured into surveys and research into the last elections. We have perfected the almighty Quadratic formula, when it comes to elections. We thank the APC for giving us the field to test our results.

PDP gets dissed on daily basis on Twitter. Almost all of it's tweets get it attacked by Twitter users who tell them they lack moral right to condemn APC for anything, especially following revelations from #DasukiGate. The party will need to seriously apologize to Nigeria for the calamity it brought on the nation while it held sway.

Hinwazaka, are you talking of the same research that got you beaten in Kogi and got you struggling in Bayelsa where many thought APC had no chance? Going by what is happening in Bayelsa, I am sure APC has a very good chance to win Rivers now. Mark this post.

There is no way Fayose will not be named, e just remain small, the 2k he shared to each & every voter in both election days in March must have come from somewhere.

The silence is deafening! It's very very unusual.

In Amaechi's voice: 'Parade don change gear' and you can see that olisa metuh is beginning to tone down just to avoid being named among those that benefitted from the arm deal.






If Dokpesi got that much , I expect olisa metuh and his office to get same so as to help them in their media blitz prior to the election.

Everyone cannot support President Buhari. It is not good for democrscy to have everyone in the same political camp, progress, growth and positive ctiticsm necessary to engender improvements will stall. We must have opposition to act as voice of reason and alert leadership to their blindsights.

Metuh is opposition, he must act in his capacity as voice of positive criticsm and forge forward with PDP.

If he lacks knowledge and skills on how to be in opposition he should go find a mentor in Yorubaland to coach him on what to do.
