U.S First Lady,Michelle Obama enlisted Nigerian-born Duro Oluwu to decorate the White House in preparation for this year's Christmas celebrations. Duro Olowu who was born to a Nigerian father and Jamaican mother decorated the Vermeil room.



Duro spent some of his childhood life in Lagos before he left for London to study law. In October 2004, he launched his first women’s wear label with a collection for Spring/Summer 2005. .

The list of celebrities who wear his design include, Uma Thurman, Keira Knightley and Linda Evangelista.
