When d Kenyan Health Minister, Charity Ngilu, visited Mathare Hosp, she dcided 2 at least, have a chat with 1 of d patients. Dey looked around 4 one who was not so violent to talk with d minister. When he was brought 2 her, d Minister ask d question 'How did u get here? What was d nature of ur illness?' She got d following reply: "Wel, it all started wen I got married n I guess I should never have done it. I married a widow with a grown up daughter; who den became my stepmother. My dad came 2 visit us, fell in love with my stepdaughter, then married her. And so, my stepdaughter was now, my stepmother. Soon my wife had a son who was, of course, my daddy's brother-in-law since he is d half brother of my stepdaughter, who is now, of course my daddy's wife. So, as I told u, when my stepdaughter married my dad, she was at once, my stepmother! Now, since my new son is brother to my stepmother, he also became my uncle. As u kno, my wife is my step-grandmother since she is my stepmother's mother. Don't 4get dat my stepmother is my stepdaughter. Remember too dat I am my wife's grandson. But hold on just a few minutes more. U see, since I'm married 2 my step-grandmother, I am not only d wife's grandson n her hubby, but I am also my own grandfather. Now can u understand how I got put in this place?" |
