90-year-old Woman Starved by Her Children, Claimed They Were Tired of Caring for Her



A woman was nearly starved to death by her children because they claimed keeping her alive was costing too much of their money and time.

Police found 90-year-old Xiaoming Tsui who was unable to stand up, emaciated, and asking for food.

“Please, feed me, feed me,” she begged.

The elderly woman had been surviving off water and oatmeal which her neighbors would give her while her children were away from the home. The neighbors claimed that they didn’t know Tsui was being starved, but knew that she was being mistreated and ultimately decided to report the abuse to authorities.

According to police reports, Tsui’s children were tired of caring for their ill mother and decided to keep her locked in a room to make it appear that she had starved herself.

“They didn’t send their mother any food, telling her it was so she didn’t need the bathroom,” the spokesperson said. “[They] would allow no-one in to see her.”

The children have been arrested and are now facing an attempted murder charge.
