How You Can Know Which Church Is The Right One! by thisvoice: 1:00pm On Dec 17, 2015
The word “Church” is an acceptable term used to describe the meeting/worship place/building in the Christian religion, though many Christian organizations may choose or has already ignored or forbidden the usage of the term completely, as some has even gone further to adopt newer and different trendier terms for themselves all to suit the nature of their religious environment/organization or activities, even as ‘church’ remains evidently the most popularly used term to describe Christian religious gatherings or buildings.

In the Christian religion, belonging to a church is compulsory, as they claim that it helps to build the faith of believers and prepare them for Heaven and thus escape Hell, even though some will quickly jump at disputing and discouraging this notion – (story for another day).

Since the Christian religion has made it mandatory that in other to be saved, saved from what actually? This is another mystery they claim. Anyway, lets continue.. they say, to be saved, one must become a Christian and then choose a church, so how can an individual do this carefully and wisely? Off course given the very competition out there, as almost anyone can claim to have received a special calling from God. The funniest part of this is that, when you try to ask about how it[the call] happened for most of them, you will hear very funny narratives and completely laughable descriptions that could almost crack your ribs, well, most people won’t laugh as they are already deep into absorbing and quickly accepting cooked up religious jargons.

True, in the Christian Religion there are so many churches to choose from, each with its own different methods and interpretation of God & the Bible (A book clearly written by early wise men commonly used by Christians as a way of connecting to their God, and is sometimes referred to as the “Holy Scriptures” whether or not this book was truly inspired as they claim, is still very much a hot debate within critics, philosophers and some common people like me) Interpretations and conclusions are mostly based on the understanding of their religious leaders who often claim to be under another form of inspiration from their God, who brings new insights and hands it down to them in different unclear and mysterious forms.

Sometimes to support their claims these religious leaders claim to receive personal revelations and visions directly from their God, in turn claim to be divinely called to inspire and lead a crowd in the form of a church/fellowship or ministry. Many if not all of these religious leaders, claim to receive these revelations either in a dream or via visions/trance.

In turn they are expected to enroll in a Christian religious school, specially designed by Christians and for Christians to equip them spiritually and teach them to preach. These schools are the present day special Christian schools sometimes called “School of Theology”, still many disagree with the idea and claim that they are naturals that they do not need any school to teach them how to deliver as church leaders effectively since they have already been divinely called and anointed. This is still another hot debate within Christians and the Christian religion in its entirety.

Also when choosing a church...continue here:http://www.thisvoice.net/opinions/choosing-a-church-by-mike-kinagbara
