Cause of Malaria:
Malaria Fever is caused by a single-celled organism plasmodium that thrives in the red blood cells of the victim. These parasites spread from one person to another through mosquito bites. The mosquito sucks up the blood of an infected person and injects the blood into another person. As the process continues and so does the sickness spread.
Symptoms of Malaria Fever:
1. Chills and headache that come and go.
2. Fever that recurs every 2 or 3 days, each lasting from 2-3 hours.
3. High temperature.
4. Muscular pains.
5. Heavy perspiration.
6. Loss of appetite.
7. Weakness, pale skin.
Prevention of Malaria Fever:
1. Avoid Mosquito attacks.
2. Use of mosquito nets when sleeping.
3. Keep the environment clean.
4. Remove old cans, broken pots, etc from the surroundings. These products act as breeding places for mosquitoes.
Treatment
Formular 1:
Material: A. 4 yellow pawpaw leaves. B. 30 leaves of Bitter-leaf plant. C. 8 bottles of water.
Recipe: Squeeze all together in C.
Dosage: 1 glassful thrice daily for 10 days.
Formular 2:
Materials: A. Goat Weed. B. Water.
Recipe: Squeeze the leaves in water. Make it as concentrated as possible.
Dosage: 1 glassful thrice daily for 5 days.
Note: This preparation is excellent for intestinal ulcer.
Formular 3:
Materials: A. Lemon grass leaves. B. Orange peels. C. Leaves of morinda lucida-Brimstone Leaves. D. Water.
Recipe: Bring an equal amount of A, B and C to boil in a medium sized pot for 40 minutes.
Dosage: 1 glass thrice daily.
