Many Nigerians are always quick to see the bad sides of this country. They complain each time there is a wrong move by our leaders but this time around, our big mummy: Prof Dora Akunyili, the Hon Minister of Information has initiated a project that can put money in your pocket and yet many Nigerian youths are still crying that there is no job.

I give you an idea. Our image has been battered a lot because of our actions but now that this "re-brand projet is on" i will advice youth who are eager to work to form groups (CBOs or NGOs) and initiated a project that will support the "rebrand project". Look at what i mean: In your community, you can form groups and decide to advocate againist politicans using youths for thugs during election periods; advocate against youths using internet for 419; advocate against youth lazyiness; advocate on good governance etc. When you develop this aims and objectives, learn to reach out to people in your community that share your passion and idea for moral and financial support.

Many people will love to participate in your activity. with it, you will build contact and network with people that can really be of help to you tomorrow.

Don't neglect this idea. You may call it common, but i am telling you that media will even offer you a free publicity when you pay them a courtesy call to intimate them of your activity in support of the "re-brand project". No matter how small, just start now and see how you will fly.

Goodluck!

You cannot plough a field by turning it over in your mind sister,

1: The youths who will form groups will simply jump off their unemployed arses to re-brand
2: They will pick food from thin air to muster the breath to speak about what bothers them
3: They will have the mental will and physical stamina to think on the run when chased by security operatives ordered to smash any gathering whatever the purpose.

Tell Mummy Nigeria to think. it is crucial that true intellectual thought begins to gain hold like it should rather than half-baked opinions you have gathered from patronizing hooly woolies across the country.

Our job (the youth) is not to make up anybody's mind, but to open minds and to make the agony of the decision-making so intense you can escape only by thinking.
