I got this two SMS from UBA Africard. I only operate a UBA Africard and no other account with UBA. and I find it hard to understand this SMS. the second SMS is about two weeks later before I got the second one.

Dear Customer, only full KYC prepaid cards can now be used for international txns. Please upgrade your card at any UBA Business Office or email cfc@ubagroup.com

and this

Dear Customer, based on the CBN's KYC regulations, you must operate a UBA account to carry out transactions on your UBA Prepaid Card, effective 31/12/15.

if you own a UBA Africard or understand this SMS please come here and say something.

Its as clear as its states. You should open an account with UBA.

umm. sound interesting. but what about people who have UBA Africard and UBA account. will they now end up having two account.

Yes they would. It would be two accounts in their profile. Every bank customer has a profile. There can be up to 100 accounts in that profile so its no big deal. (I have 6 accounts with just one bank )
