In August, we first broke the news about an upcoming smartphone with a deca-core chip; Zopo has now confirmed the story.

In a blog post, Zopo says the device would debut in February 2016 at the Mobile World Congress, it is said to be a big media event with celebrities and Zopo brand ambassador and MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo in attendance.

We have kept contact with our insider, and we can authoritatively tell you that the upcoming smartphone would run on the MediaTek HelioX20 powered deca-core chip. This would be complimented by 4GB of RAM. The smartphone will also come with fingerprint sensor and would be named Speed 8.
