Marketsquare is a grocery retail destination in Nigeria with a vision to provide a superior retail experience for the Nigerian consumers.
Marketsquare provides consumers a place they can they can call their own - a place where they can get food and household items in a world class shopping environment. A place they can "Find more and Pay less".
The company opened their first store in Yenagoa in December 2015 and is currently developing three others in Port Harcourt to be opened in various times during the First Half of 2016. Subsequently 15 stores will be opened over the first 5 years of operations across different parts of Nigeria. At the moment, all the company's products are locally sourced, creating employment directly for over 300 people and indirectly for over 1000 people. The numbers are expected to grow astronomically as they expand their footprint across the country.
Whether you are looking for fresh fruits and vegetables, cooked food or bread, cakes and pastry or you are looking for milk, eggs, canned and other packaged food, breakfast, cereals, cosmetics, commodities, detergents, baby products or other domestic tools and appliances, you will find this at your neighbourhood Marketsquare.

Marketsquare will be an acronym for the traditional African open markets that Nigerians have grown accustomed to but will compete favorably with the International retail destinations such as Shoprite and Walmart.

Go drop ur CV at the Yenegoa Store. HR people will pick from their and send to Admin Office in PH. Vacancies are closed in Yenagoa for graduates but I am sure more vacancies will come up as the other stores are opened in PH and other towns.

Quite massive. This is just for one store. Imagine when the other stores in other states open shortly. It is a wholly indigenous company and should be encouraged.
