Biblical Way Of Celebrating Christmas by HCpaul(m): 2:53pm On Dec 25, 2015
Merry Christmas and happy new year greetings from the elect of the most high.

This has been a message that had compilled over the days to unveil the real meaning of Christmas, Christ perspective and God initial intention for sending Christ on earth.
The primary aim of writing this post is not to devastate the idea of celebrating christmas but instead providing reasons why you must go beyond the common way of celebrating and jubilating on a christmas occassion.

Generally speaking, christmas is one of the best season ever amoung the days of an annum.
The season of christmas is a time of joy, celebration and fantacies.
This is actually the mental consent that individuals undertook.

Howeve, the real meaning of christmas is not all about celebration, but instead, an appreciation to God.
If it is said to be celebration, then what exactly are we celebrating Christ for in this imperfect world?
Food for thought...

Drawing our attention back to the bible, we could observe that the three wisemen that came to meet Jesus at his birth did not come to celebrate the saviour but instead came to appreciate him.

Christmas signifies Christ birth. Meaning that the day Jesus came to the world.

Though, it is a bright idea to call to remembrance the birth of Jesus which was a definite assertion Jesus oblidged during his earthly ministry.
But if truely Christmas significantly implies a call to the remembrance of Christ birth, then the only logical and biblical thing to do is to appreciate his birth and not celebrating.

An average human being is familiar with celebration, since they usually derive pleasure from the midst of it.
Any body can celebrate christmas... Anybody can visit father christmas, sing christmas music, kill fowl, and even attend a christmas eve.
Infact, the majority of people that participate in the celebration are sinners.

To be distinctive, one must go beyond the worldly way of celebrating christmas and adopt the mental awareness of appriciating christ birth.
You sit yourself down and analyze in your heart or within your system what christmas is all about, why celebrating/appreciating christmas, and the value christmas will add to the believers.

WHAT IS CHRISTMAS ALL ABOUT?

Christmas simply the day Christ came to earth.
Christ implies the messiah, the annointed one and mostly known as the savior of the whole world.

When Jesus came on earth or i should say that during the birth of Jesus, the whole world wasn't rejoicing not to talk of celebrating.
Even the chief priests, the pharisee, official leaders of the synagouge and other religious oriented individuals in Isrealite.
At his birth, Herod wasn't happy, the teachers of the law hated him and the whole world was against him.
No one was stared up to celebrate his birth because the nature of his birth doesn't calls for celebration.
His coming was to spring up light in the midst of darkness and those that dwells in the region and the shadow of death.
To humble the whole world by making there deeds known and revealing there iniquities.

When he departed, non of his apostles and disciples celebrated his birth, but they all daily remember his birth.

WHY CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS?

Christians worldwide mostly celebrate christmas by re-calling and specially consecrating the birth of the messiah.
Birth here implies "the day that Jesus came to earth."
This logically prove to us that christians are actually celebrating the day Jesus was born and not Jesus himself.

This is a typical example of man's indoctrination and belief system.
Jesus must be celebrated and not the day he was born.
The day is not the savior but Jesus.
We can only appreciate the day but we cannot celebrate it.

HOW TO ACKNOWLEDGE CHRISTMAS

It is a good thing to show reverence to the day that salvation entered into the world.
But nevertheless, as a real christian, we are all entitled to appreciate the day but celebrate Jesus.

But how exactly are we going to celebrate Jesus in the way of the Lord? This will make me to array some few lists beneath on how to appreciate the day and celebrate Jesus.

- Appreciate the day on your knees but celebrate Jesus in your heart.

- Go back to the way of the cross and carry your cross with Jesus.

- Rebuild your relationship, faith and love with him and also express it to others.

- Build your prayer alter, holy ghost baptism and fresh fire.

- Become an enemy of the devil and never advocate iniquity.

- Demand for a new change in life.

- Start living and not just existing.

- And finally, challenge yourself with these question:
[b]/- A wiseman will crave for wealth, a wiser man will aspire wisdom and the wisest man will go for power, but as a christian what are you desperate for?

Let me give you the hint... Be desperate for these three things...
- Jesus
- Life
- Heaven
And these there things are one.

Once again, compliment of the season.
Merry Christmas.

Christ peace.
