“Seize the day” isn’t just an advice to be wished away. It is a creed to be held. Every person should forge out efforts towards maximizing every second of each day.

You surely wish that you had more than the 24 hours in day to help to achieve that aspiration of yours. Each day is a opportunity to stand out. No slacking. Dedicating your time productively is necessary. How do you help yourself to be productive? Here are some tips to help you stay productive every day.

WRITE DOWN YOUR GOALS

Write those things you want to achieve today, next five years or longer. They may be small, minor, big or major. They all matter. The You of tomorrow should be proud of the You of today. Each day you look into your ‘goal jotter’, you invigorate the desire to progress. An unwritten goal remains wishful thinking. It can’t easily be tracked. You may forget some part. That may lose you a sense of direction. Remember that you grow with your goals. So, be sure to review, revise and adjust them as often as necessary.

UTILIZE MODERN TECHNOLOGY

There are loads of technological tools today that boost can boost your productivity. Technology simplifies your life. Various apps are there on PC and mobile devices to jot your plans and design your schedules. With Skype, you can cut limits to travelling for the purpose of physical contact. With Trello, you can complete multiple tasks simultaneously. With Google Drive and Drop Box, you don’t have to carry external drives around as your files would be stored virtually and can be easily shared among team members. Acclimatize yourself with these and other technological tools for productivity.

DELEGATE TASKS

You can’t do everything even if you see the need to. Assign duties to subordinates and peers. You may monitor their progress in action. You’ve worked on building a formidable team. Members of your team should be efficient to stand in for you. Trust them and you’ll achieve more than you could have imagined.

BE GRATEFUL

Gratitude is cool. Be grateful to God. Be grateful to your associates. Be grateful to everyone. It doesn’t matter how awful things look. Gratitude brings about better things. From the scriptures, we learn that the grateful one earns increment in sustenance. Gratitude earns individuals compassion from others too. Saying ‘Thank You!’ to others wouldn’t take anything from you. It would produce commitment to success. Be grateful and stay productive!

PRAY

Prayer combined with dedication to productivity is equally nice. Pray to God to grant you the opportunity of experiencing the goodness of each day as you wake. He listens to the faithful caller when they call on Him. He accepts their request and blesses their efforts thereafter. Prayer boosts productivity.

PLAN EACH DAY AN EVENING AHEAD

It may be too late planning a day after it had started. Planning ahead is a wonderful idea. The evening gives you the avenue to evaluate today and plan for the following day. Unaccomplished tasked can be readily transferred to the day after. Write out your schedule. Allot time to each task by hour or minutes as you may wish. Monitor your progress. Stay productive all day.
