He's a common appointee that can be fired at any given time. He isn't the first minister from Rivers state neither is he the first transport minister from Rivers state. Abiye Sekibo was a transport minister under Obasanjo administration. That didn't add any pin to the average Rivers man/woman on the street and the state at large. Ama Pepple was minister same with Wike. Oga him minister na him pocket. It adds nothing to Rivers state and changes nothing. In fact, as minister he's under the authority of the President and must do to his bidding. He's NO powerbroker neither is he part of Buhari's kitchen cabinet
