1. Salaries are fixed.
No matter ur effort dat month,u earn same.

2. Salaries are paid by employers to just be sufficient for u to survive and do ur job.

3. No matter how much u earn as salary the moment it is stopped either by termination or retirement

Many people end up becoming poor.Hence d need for alternative source of income

4. Salary earners are prone to pay cut and down signing, Especially in this days of harsh economic realities

CHECK OUT THIS HARD BUT REAL SALARY ANALYSIS:

Divide your salary by 30, i.e. the number of days in a month and see the funny thing about your salary plan.

E.g N60,000➗30= N2,000
Less than the amount made daily by an average hawker in the city.

N72,000➗30= N2,400
Less than d amount earned daily by an average driver in d city and some villages.

N120,000➗30= N4,000
Less than the daily amount earned by a keke napep,taxi, and a tipper driver.

HOPE BY NOW, ITS SINKING IN, RIGHT?

We shouldn't end at satisfactions from these earnings.

Nothing compares to one being an owner of a striving business or venture. For one to rely on his salary as the only source of income is suicidal.

You are right, the matter is that one,(salary) is fixed, subjected to increment as time passes and sometimes very dependable.

The other one (daily pay) is not that dependable, not fixed and can only be increased with extra effort. All these Cab, Tipper and Taxi drivers' income can be greatly affected during fuel crisis as we are witnessing, thereby resorting to them staying at home more than necessary without pay.

The funny part is that, when the time come for both party to contribute something in the family, everyone will still look the way of the salary earner.

Smart guys now combine the two.
