Why I Can’t Release Dasuki And Nnamdi Kanu — Buhari by queentell(f): 8:03am On Dec 31, 2015 |
President Muhammadu Buhari has given reasons why his government has refused to release a former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, and the coordinator of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, despite several court directives. Mr. Dasuki, who is facing trial for allegedly diverting and sharing over $2.2 billion dollars meant for arms procurement for the anti-Boko Haram war, to politicians and cronies, was on Wednesday re-arrested by the State Security Service after he had been granted bail by three different courts. Mr. Kanu, who is spearheading the quest for an independent nation of Biafra, was earlier granted bail by a Federal high Court sitting in Abuja, but he was also re-arrested by the SSS, which slammed a fresh charge of treasonable felony against him. Speaking during his first presidential media chat at the presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday, Mr. Buhari said the two accused persons cannot be allowed to enjoy any form of freedom due to the enormity of their offenses. “”If you see the atrocities these people committed against this country, we can’t allow them to jump bail,” he said. Mr. Buhari said Mr. Dasuki was simply sharing government’s money the way he liked. “They would just say to Central Bank give so and so, 40 billion naira just like that; 40 billion,” he said. http://www.zubbyblog.com/why-i-cant-release-dasuki-and-nnamdi-kanu-buhari/ |

Lol. Hope we are not in a dictatorship era anymore. For me, a person is free to exercise his fundamental human right until he is proven guilty In the court of law. The president should respect the pronouncements of the judiciary at all times even if it goes contrary to the expectations of the federal government. Just want to advice the FG to be cautious lest he is tagged a DICTATOR |

Who is callin mr presido a dictator, nawoo. Kanu shouldn't let go unless he vows never to go back to his clueless mission. Just decievin my gullible brothers who thought that they were bein cheated, with biafra they can go to Heaven without righteousness, they will longer suffer even if they die in laziness. Rubbish , biafra cant do me favour but GOD. |

What is Buhari afraid of in Dasuki's case? If he's not afraid Dasuki will implicated him, let him allow the court do their job. His continued detention of him puts a question mark on his Buhari's integrity. |

Because he called you a pedophile and a terrorist which the courts have told you is not a crime. This is no longer about the judiciary doing their jobs. It's about personal vendetta. Get ready to swim against the tide of Freedom, you are not divine. |

queentell:" Freedom of expression" right. So meant he should be set free to continue steerin spirit of agitation among my naive brothers which had claimed innocent lives for notin while he's abroad with his family. Let it known unto u that if any had known he would die , he would never had woke from bed on that fateful day. |
