What's there not to understand? The part that contains "ancient" or the one that contains "man made civilization". The Egyptians have been embalming bodies for ages b4 the science was actually conceived. Embalmed mummified bodies are still being discovered. They also built the pyramids so perfectly that it still stands up until now, do you think that has anything to do with technology and what part of that isn't civilization?.

Time went by and he started to adapt, farming, shelter, transportation even religion. The ancients learned how to write, how to speak, how to learn, how to adapt to their environment and so on and so forth.
