Don't wait till Monday, locate your boss now and narrate what happened. Tell him the whole truth.

Sorry guy, but you self dey looku - looku too much for Wetin no concern you. Having said that, i will advise you tell your Oga ASAP and face the consequences. His reaction might even surprise you, either good or bad tell the truth at all times.
